Now that every other class has received updated gear, it's only a matter of time before the Engineer gets his own cool new swag. what do you think would be cool, new buildings, new weapons, new maps, all that.

A blowjob Probably something that makes him a little less campy, maybe trading sentry firepower for more effective upgrading. Hmmm, or trading the ability to upgrade for a more upgradable sentry, forcing teamplay. There are a few awsome ideas valve could go with, for now I'm content to wait and see.

I remember the fake site a while ago that had a mobile, if more fragile, Dispenser. Joke or not, that's a good idea.

And the PDQ. Basically what I want are items that will give the Engineer more purpose in a wider variety of situations. Designing unlocks that are geared towards the battle engineer play style would be nice.


If Valve just gives us some stupid unlock that helps us beat on Spys I will be pissed.

The mobile Dispencer, and multiple (but weaker) Sentrys do sound rather appealing.

But the controls for that dispenser can't be too complicated, you'd probably only be able to switch between 'follow' and 'sitting duck'.

The teleportal seems like a fun idea.

Some sort of trap-style building would be nice. Don't care what, but some way to booby-trap a hallway would be nice.

A Wrench that makes his building build really fast, but at the expense of not being able to upgrade them.

Oh wait, they already thought of that. I would still like it though.

lvl 1 sentry that deploys instantly to support offensive engies.

Telespringer idea sounds good, put heavies into the air, get up high as demo without taking damage.

the ability to deploy 3 lvl 1 sentries instead of 1 lvl 3. no instant deployment though.

cattleprod, low damage melee weapon with knockback, makes zapping noise.

mobile dispenser is too much of a hassle, besides it would cheapen the medic.

lvl 3 sentry with spiderlegs. Stays in place until the engineer ventures forward and calls for it, then it slowly crawls while looking for targets to it's new position.

A sentry that doesnt shoot bullets but prevents an enemy using weapons. higher lvl sentry blocks more players.

2 second energy bubble that only protects equipment from explosions would be cool too.

make the teleporter 2 way, so players can go back to spawn for ammo. (maybe useful if one of the new weapons replaces dispenser)

ability to deploy multiple teleporters. reduces need for multiple engies on team, keep the old teleporter up while deploying a new one closer to frontline.

Tripmines, mines.

bring back armor for classes. engineers can repair armor with ammo.

Sniper sentry, aimbot with 5 second recharge time that never misses the head. range equal to normal sentry, to use as support for another engineer with normal sentry

A siren sentry, that could detect disguised spies and set off, it could fire a laser or something to make the proper sentry target the spy.

Give a little extra protection to all an engy's hard work.
