Usually I'm pretty diligent about my interwebs security, however I succumbed to laxity and obtained a wonderful virus that redirects me every time I click on a link from a search engine like Google.
It's called newserversearch.com virus or more simply verbalized as asdfgh***@#! when I have to constantly go back and retry for the site I wanted after clicking a link in Google and being redirected to newserversearch.com firefox server error server not found.
It's so fracking frustrating because I usually forget I have it and click the link anyway (silly me). Yes i have scanned several times with anti viruses and it did pick the virus up and destroy it... time for the dreaded format I think :(

Oh and by the way I'm on ur webs spreading PCI's..
Off Topic.. wtf was the sudden change from STD's to STI's.. took the boffins 20 years to work out there was a difference...

Whatever happened to Conficker?
Everyone was so worried about it, then it kind of slipped off the radar...
Same with Aids.

Nobody talks about AIDS anymore

Don't use firefox, I stopped using ages ago when it kept getting random popups on google and other websites that don't have popups. It's waay too prone to that kind of shit.

I had that thing like 3 days ago, clearly you're me from an alternate Universe.

I just restored to a time I didn't have the virus and everything was fine Bizzaro me.

When I've had virus's that is normally the second thing I try. When virus scans pick up nothing, I restore to a previous point, and that doesn't work usually because it says "Computer cannot restore to a point where it was infected" And also the virus I had deleted previous restore points. So I had to format D: That was recently too.

My mates Mac has one of these viruses. It's piss annoying. I've never had it on Mac or PC though. Guess I'm just lucky.

I wasn't running the no-script plugin! Wee-woop!
I know that seems harsh but Firefox does have a well known plugin that prevents those kind of virus's. I use Google chrome these days but Firefox is still a great browser.
