Have you ever gotten a new game and you have one person who knows it and tries to help everyone on their way, but then this one guy reads the whole instruction manual or whatever and starts to question every little thing that the guy leading the game and who's trying to help the others (by secretly cheating because everyone else sucks) does?

...That's an oddly specific problem. And no, it's never happened to me.

that question is just all over the place and makes no sense...

are you asking about people that just blindly question regardless?
or are you asking about the "know" vrs. "experience" conflict?

Kind of? When I played Dark Heresy for the first time, the one guy who actually 'knew' the system did everything he could to cheat the heck out of it and still convince the GM, who was also learning the system, that it was legal. He wasn't asking questions, just arbitrarily saying how abilities stacked in a way to let him do everything he wanted before anybody else stood a chance at trying. Only after everybody worked together to read all the subtexts did the group learn he'd been lieing, but by then nobody wanted to play.
