That TV show/movie who's name you can't remember

So all of us have seen a TV show or movie we liked, but we can't seem to find in anywhere, we can't remember its name and you can't find anyone on the internet who seems it knows existed. So I decided lets make a thread and hopefully we can finally find that TV show we liked as someone else gotta know it existed, hey that person might be on the escapist.

So as fro the TV show I am looking for, The premise is that humans and other alien races all get to enter into a racing competition the winners will get their wish granted by a godly being, no matter how big or small the wish was, it would be granted. The humans want to win the race to help and change the tied of a war, and that is pretty much all can remember beyond the main character being a girl with red hair.

The show is called Oban Star Racers it was a Japanese and French collaboration, though thanks for reminding me about it I might go back and watch it.

Though your gonna have the problem on this thread of people completely forgeting the name of the show as soon as they see the description of it, happens to me all the time.

Hah. Okay, I'll play. Mostly 'cause this drives me nuts, so why not?

When I was less than 10 (probably somewhere around 6-8, I think).. so, somewhere between 1982-1986.. I saw a movie on TV late at night that thoroughly traumatized me. Although, as I said, I was very young.. and I'm not ENTIRELY sure if I actually saw this or if it was a dream I had. I've remained mostly certain throughout my life that it was a movie, though.

It was a Halloween horror movie and the only two things I remember about it are Jack-o-lanterns turning into this mushy stuff on porches with snakes coming out of them at several points and.. kids who'd (somehow) lost their parents going through a.. a.. "parent factory" for lack of a better word where they could see parents/families interacting in seemingly natural habitats and then choose their new family.

Oh, and one of the families was watching a TV and either one or all of their heads turned to mush with snakes coming out.

Scared the living shit out of me. I didn't sleep for a while.

There was a show in syndication in the late 80's if I remember correctly. I think it was a first run syndication show but I'm not clear on that either. It was about aliens who passed as humans and were infiltrating society in an attempt to take over the Earth. There was a group of scientist who were aware of their existence and worked together to track them and to take them out. I believe one of the human characters was in a wheelchair and they may have had an ally in the government. The program kept getting moved around in time slots and switching from one channel to another. I only saw a few episodes but loved the show. For some reason I keep thinking of the word "radio" or something with the letter "r" maybe. Of course this last detail I've mentioned may be just a blip in my memory and have no relevance to the show.

I remember there being a show called "Alien Nation." Dont know if that is what you are looking for tho.

Tv show is about a carrier agency service in the future where the kids have hoverboards,hoverskats and hover scooters. they compete with other agencies to be the fastest. the show is like a cartoon in 3d animation and i cant remember what its called.

This is one I've been trying to work out for years.

A childrens drama-adventure serial shown on the BBC in the mid to late 80s. I'm almost certain it was a european import - possibly german though it was dubbed (?) into english. Anyway, it's about a conflict between two Ruritania style countries - late 19th or early 20th century judging by the clothes, and the main thing I remember about is a scene where a metal canister of the bad guys' secret weapon is accidentally dropped, rolls down a street and cracks, emmitting a white gas that freezes nearby people to death.

Not much to go on, but it left an impression and I've been trying to find out what that series was for a long time.

Edit: Found it! Writing this post led me to test my Googlefu on this one again, and this time it worked. "The Secret of Steel City" aka "Tajemství ocelového mesta", Czech, not German, and a brief look on Youtube confirms it's every bit as grim and violent (for a kid's show) as I remember.

Another one from the 80's.

The only part I can remember is a girl in a cave kinda chained up and she had no eyes. Not that they had been removed she wasn't "human" but for the life in me i've never been able to find it since.

I can't find the name to this show grrrrrrr
I think i watched it when i was around 7 or 8 (2001-2006) it was on in the middle of the day
I remember one episode, the main character was some sort of hunter (clothing of animal skins) and he lived in the jungle.
In this episode he falls in-love with a woman, but it turns out this woman is binded to the evil man the main character is fighting. The main character finds out that if he hurts the evil man or kills him the same will have to the woman he loves. While the evil man and the main character are fighting the woman stabs her-self to save the main character.

I also think there was a bracelet involved but i'm not sure

So my TV Show was back in the 80's, i'm pulling my hair out that i can't remember it. It was set in the fjords of Norway, i'm sure the main character was called Peter but i think that's wrong as google searching produced no results.

The main story was about this scientist who has created some food which would end sort out food problems, but something happens to the scientist and it's up to this kid "Peter" to stop the formula falling into the wrong hands.

It was kinda like ben 10 in the monster part but it was a card game on the computer. And it is a cartoon series. I just cant remember

Marlee Matlin was a deaf (duh) district attorney. I think Mark Harmon was the cop who worked with her. There was a redheaded bartender who I knew was not played by Gates McFadden but I kept thinking that was her all the same.

I could find out just by knowing Marlee Matlin was in it, but I figured that would be against the rules of this game.

Ugh there was this one show along time ago but i cant remember much of it. I can only remember an episode which was about this dude who had to stop something beacause there was this thing going around making people sleep and not wake up while their eyes moved rapidly, and left sand in their eyes. Kind fo like the sand man i guess? But not really. I cant remember. Sorry i dont know how to put what im thinking into words. T^T please help!

Im not sure what channal it was on but was it digimon? Sounds like it, but there were alot of shows like that back then... i could be wrong.
