OK I saw this this morning and I understand how tragic it is and how many people lost their lives in this stupid senseless act. When I first heard about it I posted " Well I guess the Batman movie started with a bang...". I like my Dark humor as much as the next guy and I wasn't aiming at anyone or attacking anyone. I just thought it was just a dark humor quote. Did I go to far or am I dancing the line??

It's in poor taste, but it's human nature. You were presumably just trying to cope with the insanity of the news.

Probably too soon for that joke. Also not one I would share on the internet, more like something you should say to a friend or something. Just saw that the killer used an AR-15 to commit the murders, the 2nd Amendment sure is working well isn't it.

Don't worry mate, this is the internet and your comment is extremely tame in comparison to many others out there. My first reaction to the news was "was the film that bad?". I then mentally kicked myself.

No one will hold it against you I don't think.

Nah, I posted my own twisted joke on there and all I got was one person calling me out saying it was "Too Soon".
All the messages involving sympathies and hopes to the families involved would have already been said a bajillion times before so why be a broken record and repeat it? Might aswell change it up a bit and try and make someone laugh.
