I am sick and tired of shooters now. They're all the same, no matter how many game modes, functions, weapon attachments and derserted cities you put into them, they're all shoot enemy, reload, regenerate health, over and over.

Now before i turn this into a full force rant, I havnt played a driving game sine burnout 2, which was 6 years ago, so my attention to the genre has gone very stale. so recommend me some good driving games, I have an Xbox, give me the most fast, graphicaly impressive driving game you can name.

So repetitive gameplay bores you, and you decide you want a driving game?
I really hope that was sarcasm. I said i was bored of shooters, and driving games seem to be the complete opposite, but still hold that mature theme.

I don't think that means what you think it means.

Seriously though, I'd give Forza a go. It's not exactly Gran Turismo, but that's on PS3 and also not even out yet.

Burnout 3 or Burnout Revenge are both great choices
As far as great racing games go in general, you can't do better than these. And if you have a Gamecube as well, I would also very highly recommend F-Zero GX.

I quite liked Full Auto... It's just racing except all your cars have weapons.

I also enjoyed Blur and Split/Second.
full auto is awesome. i honestly dont like games that are JUST driving. it gets so boring! i want explosions and speed racer type shit going on, if they made a new f zero game with explosions and drifting and whatnot id buy it instantly =]

I haven't played loads of driving games, but Dirt 2 has amazing graphics (at least, on the PC) and some good soundtrack choices. If you prefer a free-roaming type of driving game, I have little experience of them, but Need for Speed: Underground 2 wasn't bad, especially when you crashed into a lorry going the other way and fly 20 metres into the air and smash into a road sign.

Trackmania United Forever. All of the trackmania games fired into one, and it is glorious! The fact it was ported to DS was fantastic too as it allowed the DS to do stuff it wasn't expected to do, like use a proper physics engine.

Burnout paradise entertained me for quite some time, odd seeing as I generally dislike driving based games.
