After 3 days of trekking over the Brecon Beacons in Wales living off nothing but baked beans and a rancid packet of quavers, coming home to a full Curry meal was great, chicken biryani, poppadoms, naan bread, chutney, lovely stuff

The New York Giants steak at Tenneesee Mountain (not sure if that even exists outside of Germany?).
1.8 lbs of pure steak goodness.

I'm a man of simple tastes. Marmite on toast. I will eat it every day for the rest of my life :p

The chili made by my father combined with wraps baked by my mother. Add fresh vegetables, tabasco sauce and cooled yoghurt. The various flavours and the differences in temperature (eat shortly after applying yoghurt) create a taste-EXPLOSION.

a finnish pub/restaurant called Kultainen Hirvi (The Golden Moose). Had some ox-meat engulfed in this thick pepper-cheese dressing/whatever you call it. Tasted absolutely divine.

The awesomely meaty meatyness I had around Eid in Kenya this last weekend. Followed up by similarly awesomely meaty meatyness at my wedding on Monday.

I are so fat it shouldn't be legal.

I was once at this restaurent in greece... I got a dish that... I barely remember the contents, but it was big chunks of beef, mixed together with fettucini, various herbs and some mushroomy sauce and it was all covered by a layer of cheese. It sounds so simple, but when I ate that... I was in heaven.

I cannot choose just one. I cannot.

I had an absolutely gorgeous medium-rare steak at a place called Sammy's (Melbourne, Australia). A bit pricey, but everything was.. Perfect.
The mushroom gravy, packed full of fresh mushrooms. All the vegetables, cooked to perfection. Potatoes, melting. The steak itself, so full of flavour and gloriously juicy.

.. Damnit. I'm hungry. Also, my food at my dad's work has been getting better and better. I had the best chicken parmigiana the other night, and that was a reward for volunteering during the dinner service. o.o Win.

Anyway, best speedy take-out was the kebab I got from the Turkish food place near my house. It changed ownership, so I was worried, especially when they upped the prices, but damn. So worth it. They did a great job. Even the garlic sauce tastes better. o.o

Best home meal recently.. Heh. A three-way tie.
My dad's pasta sauce is always awesome and good with just about anything, though I love it with tuna and penne pasta, or with fettuccine and cheesy beef rissoles.
My mum's chicken schnitzels, with creamy potato mash and veggies. I love it when she puts sesame or mustard seeds in the coating.
Aaaaand if I didn't mention my grandma's cooking, I wouldn't be able to sleep properly. XD Lately I've been craving her baked fish (ling or perch, usually) with baby tomatoes and potatoes, but her tomato salsa, Maltese style.. Yeah. My best friends crave it, even. XD Capsicum, zucchini, olives, loads of garlic. though the capers make it.

.. tl;dr, I love food too much. Sorry. >.> I needed to rant.

Oh man. I really should do a roast dinner soon. Haven't had a proper one in ages. Also, that stuffing sounds good~
