The Best Sword-Wielding Hero

This thread is pretty simple. Say who you think is the best sword-wielding game character and why.
BTW, Master Chief with an energy sword does not count. It has to be a metal sword.
Mine is obviously Link with the Master Sword. Post away!

EDIT: The swords can be magic, and they don't always have to be heroes.
They can be villains, side characters, etc.

Does Altair's sword count? Well, technically, I guess he's not really a 'hero' in the true sense of the word. He does asassinate people...whatever. Mine's gonna go to Link too; Master Sword is bitchin.

He's not really a 'hero.' He does save some people, but he's killing zombies. You usually don't classify someone of that nature a 'hero.' And I don't remember a sword being there; I remember a bowling ball, a TV, a lampost, a guitar...I could go on. I'm pretty sure there was a weak plastic toy sword though, but FTW that doesn't alone put him up for nomination, 'sides, Link could kick his ass!

Vergil's definetely the best sword weilder ever. Not only is he fast as lightning, he does it with stlye. Also he can summon and shoot swords, how cool is that. I would consider Dante too, but he's an all-rounder with guns and all.

I'd say Link, although he's lost and found the Master Sword so many times they may as well just re-name it the Blade-o-rang.

Or Riyu Haiyabusa (sp?), just for 2-d Ninja Gaiden.
