What's the best weapon in fiction? And I mean specifically not just "a sword" or "a bazooka" whose weapon is your favorite?

Personally I'm in awe of the simplicity of Saya's sword in Blood+. It's so well designed and so simple! She needs her blood to fight so it has that little bit for her to cut her thumb when she's opening it and the blood slides down the groove. It's really genius.

Terminators (Not Space Marine Terminators, just good ol' fashioned robot ones.)

They are and always will be more deadly than any other weapon.

Unless I decide to go with SW or WH40K, in which case a Deathstar with a fleet of Battle Barges, all armed with Exterminatus.

The Angry Marines' tank, the Predator Angrinator. Why? Because it has an Angry Launcher. What does it do?

Well, take your run-of-the-mill Space Marine army. Now add a lot of close-combat specialization. Now load them into a couple of tubes and launch them right at the enemy, where they'll probably scream obscenities as only Angry Marines know.

The C'Tan Phase knife from WH40k. You could stab some through a force field.

Most bullets travel faster than the speed of sound (1250ft/s) so you ought not to get too excited! Even a modest .22 rifle can fire at greater than the speed of sound!

EDIT: I know this thread has been done to death, but the Fiber Wire from Hitman series, a weapon of stealth & finesse
