I was thinking about it and I've been trying to think of who is the best at dismembering zombies. I concluded that Frank West is the best due to the sheer number of zombies he kills and the ways in which he does it.

So who do you think is the best?

(Note:parasites that reanimate and/or control a dead body are considered as Zombies along with the conventional type.)

The word is "ever."

Bad spelling and improper grammar physically hurts us, precious. Respect yourself and others; take the time to check your spelling and how your post is worded.

Zombines have my vote. Not because they are badass (which they are) but because they are used in scary places while waiting for slow elevators.

It is but a joke you silly person.... who doesn't know how to spell "ever"? "Evar" is just more fun to use.

The best zombie-killer is the lack of delicious brains for them to eat. That kills most zombies, actually (I'm sort of an expert on zombies).

Buffy is the ultimate slayer of the undead, I believe we can all take a page from her book. Witty banter, and then stabbing.

Not to mention her "Ballistics".

Back on topic, I'm going Goarge A. Romero. After all, in the grand scheme of things, he's the one that's really killed the most zombies in creative ways.

Gamers in general. We've got it down to an artform now. We've killed more zombies individually per game than most of the heroes in zombie books/movies ever have.

Mr. Bubbles speaks the truth. It is he that will take us to the new world, it is he that will save us.

So killing the english language is fun to you?! What manner of creature are you?

Back on target. I say Frank defiantly has a one up on everyone else due to the fact that he killed a good chunk of them in under 3 days. Second choice would be Gordon Freeman. He had to mix it up a little. Firstly, back at Black Mesa, he had to kill all his friends and co-workers. Later down the track he came to fight faster ones and poisonis ones as well, mostly with a crowbar and zero point energy weapon as well. Let see Frank do that!

Ash from evil dead. Common he coined the shotgun chainsaw combo!

Anyone ever see Versus? One of the best movies to come outa Japan in my opinion. Plot is at a minimal, and samurai/yakuza zombies are at their zenith.

Top Zombie Killers:

Father Grigori. he's just a insane othodox catholic preist with converse sneakers and a lever-action rifle. His one-liners arent one-liners, either, they're verbose benedictions that no one else can manage. I'm not a big fan of religion (like saying bill gates is a little nerdy) but the man is an undeniably effective zombie-hunter).

Master Chef, if flood count. He has a shotgun, a single blast of which will insta-kill any flood in nearly any form. It does seem kind of cheap, though. He has killed absolutely rediculous numbers of the damn things, though

Ash Williams. Best Weapons. Best One-liners. Best Enemies. Best Chin.
He's more like a heroic fantasy-type hero, though, in that he mostly kills demon zombies and skeletons, and weird undead mutant things. never conventional zombies (slow, moany, or fast and screamy, they have to be brainless, and relatively non-supernatural).

Concur, surprised it took 12 posts for him to pop up. Best Bruce Campbell undead battle ever? Elvis vs The Mummy in 'Bubba Hotep'

Umm, Master Chef? Is he the one in the white power armour with the cleaver and funny hat?

The obvious answer would Ash Williams, but I think special mention must be made of Barry Burton, as in my opinion he is the second most humourous, and second most quotable zombie-killer.

Purple Rain you're going on about spelling, but you spelled "poisonous" incorrectly.
Oops :p

I have designed a gun that fires active chainsaws. And other guns. With an under-slung flamethrower. And shotgun.

Once I figure out how to make the damned thing fire without violently exploding, I am positive that it will be the ultimate in zombie murder. Until then, we have that delightful combination of zero point energy fields and buzz saws. Or maybe Father Grigori, and his lever-action shotgun Annabelle.

I had so much fun in Ravenholm.

Well ah, yes you see. A simple error. The best of us could make it. You know who is a great zombie killer, that guy with the chainsaw. I'm sure he'll do a great job.

Actually that reminds me. Ash vs Zombie Marvel heroes. The best zombie I have seen would be zombie Spiderman. You can buy a toy of him down the road, he comes with a detachable leg.

Sometimes I wake up in a cold sweat from a nightmare in which this forum was filled with posts like OMGZ I HAZ CHEZBERGER!!!1one!1 and LEEEEEERRRRRROOOOOY!!! I am trying to discourage that by quoting the rules at you. Regardless, I didn't mean to come across as an anal retentive jerk. In real life am a terrible spelter. It's hereditary I fear. The anal retentiveness that is, not the spelting.

Part of me doesn't want to bring it up, fearing it may be a trap, but:

Spelting?

ANYWAYS, maximum kudos to SpiderLotus for suggesting Versus- that film took mentalness to whole new heights. I remember my character from Bloodlines killed a good couple of hundred zombies, if only because I got lost in that family crypt and tried the graveyard defense mission about nine times before I realised it was impossible. So my vote goes for my badass vampire.

Frank West, in the mall, with the sickle/scythe/curved-blade-on-a-pole-thingy. Particularly when combined with the book that makes blades last 3x as long, AND the book that makes tools and other construction-based items last 3x as long.

Not as much as Frank West with the mini chainsaw you get off the clown. Same benefits, much more damage. With the double powerup, that damn thing lasts forever.
