She-Hulk definitely has an interesting history, one which I'm kind of technically familiar with, but watching this and learning more about this was cool... But seriously, why is David S. Goyer still writing the new Batman/Superman movie again? I mean, if Man of Steel's general buzz wasn't enough of a tip-off, his recent comments on not only She-Hulk but also the Martian Manhunter definitely should be!

I guess it has something to do with "profit margin". That's all movie execs care about.

I don't really know what to say about that. I didn't even know a she-Hulk existed before the video, and the video didn't really convince me that she's a feminist icon, even if she may not be totally sexist either. Does self-awareness make it less or not sexist?

In anime it's a common trope to have a kickass female protagonist who also happens to be wearing something incredibly skimpy. Take the example of Queen's Blade, a show with a very long list of kickass female characters- but it's also basically porn. Is the she-hulk not sexist because it never shows her in near-explicit sexual situations? Or are the various characters in the Queen's Blade series feminist icons as well?

She-Hulk was always one of my favorite Avengers. Thanks for setting the record straight, Bob.

Thank you, Bob. I always wanted you to do a She-Hulk episode. I'm just sorry those events had to happen to trigger it.

She-Hulk is my favorite comic book character. I have all 25 of the original Savage run (well, I have the Marvel Essentials that has them all in one place) and while I admit Savage isn't all that fun or interesting aside from a few series, Sensational She-Hulk are some of my favorite comics of all time. I'm still trying to get all 60 issues (I'm up to about 40)

I haven't read any of her most recent solo series, but I did love when Peter David was writing her (because he's Peter David...)

I'm kinda torn with the idea of She-Hulk on the screen though. On one hand it would be amazing to see her in the MCU, no doubt about that, and while I know she's a vastly different character than Hulk, I dunno how well those two would blend in Avengers 3 or wherever she pops up.

I'd almost rather see She-Hulk join the other four who've already been confirmed for Netflix. Some of the most interesting She-Hulk arcs have been her in the courtroom. Maybe go back to the idea of Marvel being big enough to go small.

I would of figure that she would be at least have a cameo role in the next Hulk movie.
Still I wonder how many people out there will now used this video to proved she is not a sexist character?

no mention of her role in the Civil War series? She pretty much chose to stay in Hulk form for the entire series as she was defending the rights of Speedball.

Expected Bob to do an episode on the Ant-Man controversy. Nice acknowledgment at the end there.

You know, I always assumed that She-Hulk was a character who exists only as eye candy. All I knew of the character was that despite being a female hulk she still turned into a sexy woman and that cover image of her holding a newspaper to cover herself up so it can be easy to jump on the idea that She-Hulk is a sexist character (although if I were to ever make commentary on the series I would at least bother to do research). It's interesting and nice to learn that that's not entirely the case.

I thought the whole "slut-hulk" quip came from the fact that she tends to sleep around like crazy.

Then again, I neither know nor care enough about She-Hulk to go into any in-depth analysis.

I love She-Hulk, both as a character with interesting things to say, as a lawyer who has no problem showing up big and green to court and, I fully admit, as a gorgeous woman. I've always said that if I had a chance to date a fictional woman, it would most certainly be She Hulk. Half the reason is because she's written as a person first and a hero second and half because I'm attracted to giant green women I guess? Who knew?

It is true that she has sex with a lot of different people while she's She-Hulk, but I think it becomes a different argument there. I mean I wouldn't say she has sex with more people than say Iron Man. She is just a bit of a flirt and usually after a tough battle fighting side by side...yeah, things get naked and sweaty.

Sometimes it's actually really funny. Like when she tried to hit on Wolverine who "don't want Juggernaut's sloppy seconds." (she slept with Juggernaut in an earlier arc in Uncanny X-Men when she was his lawyer) but she claims she didn't sleep with Juggernaut.

Later in her solo series she met with another her from another world and her first question was "Did you sleep with Juggernaut!?" to which she replied Yes. So I guess Earth 616 She-Hulk sleeping with Juggernaut has been written out of continuity lol

Depending on how the next few Marvel movies work out we might get one with her in a Future Hulk movie or one with the 'Future Foundation' where Jenny is a member of [i think theyre supposed to be F4 successors and since the licence only belongs to marvel] but i dont know how a movie about team thats all about rescue & not-trash everything in sight would work.
