The Button is the prelude to the upcoming crossover event called the Doomsday Clock which will come out in November of this year and according to ComicBookCast2, will heavily concern Superman and Dr Manhatten, who turns out was revealed in the last issue of the Button crossover (You don't see him whole, but only his blue glowing hand, and he mentioned Laurie/Silk Spectre)

Ok now I am intragued me DC Comic Books, this mini event was very good and I like how it treated the "Watchmen" elements with absolute subtlty. Like I am thankful they did not just straight up showed Manhatten's face at the end of the Button event.

What do you guys think so far?

I felt It ended very abruptly and ultimately seemed quite pointless since it only served as a prelude to a story everyone already knew was coming and it's not even a direct prelude since the actual prelude is still quite a ways off.

I am curious though whether there are any other "preludes" in other DC books I'm not aware of? I've read the Superman: Reborn storyline which I felt was a more interesting story that served an actual purpose and I felt that it offered more "clues" to the whole Watchmen/Dr Manhatten deal than 'The Button' did though I suppose that ultimately still remains to be seen.

Does anyone know if there are any other prelude/tie ins to this upcoming event? Maybe in Titans with Wally West?

Well, I thought it was a waste of time, paper or even a story. I'm gonna go back to reading the normal storylines in the comics. The Button thing? No thanks.

I really hope Bruce's dad telling him to give up being Batman and become a real father to Damian goes somewhere. The comic ending with those lines running through Bruce's head seems to imply they will but man, that is such an interesting idea that it would be a real shame to waste it.
