The console debate is over!

me and a few of my other friends are really hardcore xbox 360 fans, and we have 2 other frinds that has a wii and a playstation 3 and up unitll today weve just taken the mic out of them. But today he was talking about a game on ps3 i cant remember, while i was talking about how i finally did horde the horde on gears of war 2 and how he cant play it.

Then it just kind of hit me like a bomb shell, i didnt want to take the mic out of ps3 any more, infact finiding it almost inviting, ive argued xbox's case for so long im just simply bored of it now. I even thought about getting a ps3, i would never have thought about that...ever

so simply this is my question, has anybody else been hit with this, i-dont-care-anymore-bug

I never got why anyone would care if someone likes another product unless they are insecure and need to re-affirm they made the right choice.

About eight years ago I realised being a Nintendo fanboy was pretty stupid. Every console has its pro's and cons and complaining about the fact that other people like a different gaming device than you do is just stupid.

Yeah, circa 2000 whilst being berated for my ordering a PS2 and not a Dreamcast. Sometimes hindsight is wonderful.

I didn't ever give a damn, except years ago with Dreamcast versus N64.
Tbh I don't like consoles anyway so I just tend to ignore the fanboy debates and stick with PC.

I never cared and never will care about 360s and PS3s because consoles peaked with the PS2 and a PS2 costs approximately 1 billion pounds less than either. I've always thought consoles are only good for local multiplayer and for that graphics don't really matter, especially when you're just going to have a split screen anyway. For single player you should just get a PC because odds are you'll get one anyway and you can add the money you would have spent on a console onto the budget for the PC.

I love my PS3, 360 and PC. The first the most, however, maninly due to the friends list I've got on there more than anything else, though. That and Killzone 2 and LBP.

I prefer the PC for games, but only recently got a good enough one for any decent games. I only really use my 360 for exclusives, games that work better on console (Prince of Persia etc.) or games me and my friends both like.

So my opinion is somewhat similar to yours.
