I had a spontaneous brainwave today and tried to come up with the coolest word possible, I soon realized that my imagination was not enough for such a task.
Now I ask for help, please tell me the coolest word you can think of (can be real or new) and provide a definition. Mine would have to be Quagmire, a real word that means "a troublesome predicament"

Sesquipedalian.

It's a good word. Also frippery.

Definitions ain't fun at all Mr. OP. You have to make people want to find out the word - that way there's a good chance they'll remember it.

... fallout?
Despite Enclave being the only one I actually thought of that came from Fallout....

Plus the fact that Fallout is also a cool word.

Don't forget Dementia and Canundrum

For me at the moment it has to be Snuffaluffagus and that's because of Clutch's song Careful with that mic.

EDIT: I think this is Mr. Snuffaluffagus

Clockwork: A system of mechanical motion created by storing kinetic energy through a series of gears and springs (my definition)

also

Lexicon: A book of words, definitions, and explanations of words (i.e. a dictionary or thesaurus; again, my definition)

Annihalation and Obliteration.
Especially cool when appended to weapon names or fighting moves.
