The rules of the game are this: Type in any two-word search term on DeviantArt, and the goal is to get results with no anime, furries, nudity, or game characters. (DISCLAIMER: This isn't to say I'm biased against any of those things, it's just how the game works.) I'll wait while you give it a go, take your time.

As it stands, the only one that's worked for me so far is 'Flourescent Walrus'. So, what have been your results after playing this game for a bit?

EDIT: I've also had success with Nihilistic Outlook and Unrealistic Architecture, but successful tries are few and far between.

Damn...that's a challenge that is. Can you limit it to just the 1st page?

Hah, simple, just stream together two nouns and--

Wait, that didn't work.

Let's try--

That didn't work either.

...DeviantArt is strange.

This game is a lot harder than it sounds.

I thought I had a winner with "Elvis Skeleton" but it was ruined by a damn furry on page two.

EDIT: "Insane turtleneck" didn't work? This is some serious bull crap. I shall defeat you, Deviantart.

Yeah, but multiple attempts are largely the point; it's an interesting way of looking at the composition of artwork on the site. 'Fluorescent Walrus' was my first try, too.

Y'know what is amazing? I actually knew what the 'game' was going to me just by the thread title. Mainly because I've often lamented about how almost ANY search topic will eventually return nudity and/or furries (not necessarily nude).

Waffle Eggplant works, it only comes up with some drawn fruit with happy faces.

"Twin Towers." Nope... a Hetalia "tribute" turns up on page two. I didn't have the strength to go on.
Wow... there's some stuff there that's in pe-reety bad taste.

Anyway, I'm glad there isn't Twin Towers porn, although I suspect that's just a matter of time...

I was about to say that people should type my username Trivun, and any other word they wanted, to link to my profile page. Then I ralised that first, that would be shameless advertising (still take a look though ;D), and second, that I have art that includes anime and game characters anyway. Mainly wallpapers I've done for other people.

Okay, okay, I'll try it. Entering Forum Standby Mode...

Okay, I'm back. And I tried 'Monkey cola' first. The first two images (of 177) were of cola cans with a monkey on them. The third was a picture of extremely fat, naked, anime furries. Seriously.

My second try was 'Ian Irvine'. An author who hap[pens to be a particular favourite of mine, and who I thought would fail because of Rule 34 and and because he tends to write fantasy novels with more adult themes than most (although nothing explicit, he doesn't shy away from including sex in his novels, though the main themes are very much in the realm of common fantasy/sci-fi fare).

And oddly enough, that word duo passed. In the 51 results I got, there was no anime, no nudity, no game characters (being a book author), and certainly no furries. So does that mean I win?

I'm growling at Rule 34 right now. It seems to be based on what you define as anime.
Steampunk Tutorial gets some Japan-inspired drawing styles, but it works.

All your post make me laugh I ->WAS<- part of deviantart for 2 years; photography mostly nature, I wasn't apart of the hedonistic (seriously that's the only word I can think of without resorting to swears) sickos that seem to populate 90% of that place now. I remember it use to be a good place with actual fucking art, and I was proud to apart of that community. Now I just distance myself from it.

Deviantart? What's that? My my that sounds like a ghastly place! Me no I've never been. Now explain to me what a "furrie" is. My goodness please stop! If you will excuse me I must erase such detestable visions from my mind good day!
