So admittedly as a kid I didn't watch a whole lot of Digimon.

I did however, have the movie on VHS, and holy fuck it was awesome.

Especially this scene. It holds a special place in my heart.

Holy poop.
SUPREME CANNON!

Anyway, who saw it and did you like it

I think I saw it 30 or 40 times over the course of the first year it came out.
And have viewed it somewhat regularly since >.>

Yeah I like it.

I liked it as a kid... but as an adult, I can do nothing but point out the massive plot holes, and marvel at how disjointed the whole thing is.

Admittedly, this is due to the fact that it's actually THREE movies Frankensteined together, rather than the quality of any of the individual bits.

I watched the movie "Our War Game" (the middle segment, with Omnimon) in Japanese, and I found it actually quite good. Can't speak for the other two, though.

I'm 19 and I watched this last year and loved it just as much as when I was a kid haha. The soundtrack is actually really good.

I watch it anytime I'm sick. I'd always beg my mom to turn it on for me when I'm laying on the couch.

Now, I throw it in whenever I'm bored. I'm sure i've seen this movie close to what, 100 times? My favorite movie of all time, Hands down

How could anybody consider the Digimon movie to be awesome? They just sloppily spiced together like 2-3 movies, it was completely incoherent, even as a kid I recognized this.
Omnimon's Birth/Asskicking of Diaboromon was awesome enough the first couple times you could ignore everything else. Or at least, I did.

..The entire movie should have been Omnimon's plotline, really.

...

Damnit, now I'm disappointed! >_<

Just to make this thread a bit mroe balanced...
I haven't seen it. I think I've seen one episode of digimon.
I was more of a Pokemon person, but I only watched that too the two first regions, was more into the games and trading cards really. But digimon never fell in with me.

I would really recomend Summer Wars. It was done by the same director and follows roughly the same plot of Our War Game but clocks in at about 2 hours and is entirely it's own thing.

Really would give it a thumb's up

Summer Wars was pretty good. I remember watching Digimon when it was shown on Fox. I think that was close to a decade ago now. I seen the film in theaters and absolutely loved it. Now that I know that it was actually three movies I now need to see each movie individually.

I got it on DVD as soon as it came out.

I love the Digimon soundtrack. The music they added in the movie just made it even more epic. And, of course, the second part of the movie (Our War Game) is my favourite.

I didn't find it disjointed.

Also, I love the things people say in Digimon, like "Come out and fight like a 'mon!".
The award for that in this movie goes to "How do you like your cocomon, flame broil or grill?"

It was definitely awesome, although I think it would've been better if they kept all three movies as their own instead of combining them all into one. Kind of a shame they didn't translate any of the other movies into English though, especially the movies from Tamers.

Tamers was godly amounts of awesome...

I wish it (and the original series) were available on Netflix. I loved the series something fierce. Incredible overarching storyline and some truly great imagination behind it...

Well damn, now I want to go and watch the series from the start.

I liked the first part with omnimon, izzy getting sick, losing the connection, bare naked ladies etc but as I didnt like digimon 02 that much I didnt like the second part.
Though we did get to see angemon and angewomons mega forms.

Wish there had been better digimon tamers movie
and one for frontier as well
