The "Digital Copy"

You've probably noticed that DVDs nowadays come with a digital copy on Itunes. Do you think they should make it so that you can get a free digital copy of a movie that wasn't available beforehand?

DVDs come with a free copy on iTunes? Not where I live they don't. That would be amazing.

Edit: On topic, it would be nice if they retroactively did that, but since that's not what you're paying for there's really no reason to do it.

Some dvds do, as did my blue ray directors cut of watchmen.

I noticed that...the 3-disk special edition of "The Day the Earth Stood Still" had an electronic copy...weird movie btw.
