so with my new awakened interest in The elder scrolls i decided to open this topic,
I want to know what does Bethesda needs to change in TES5 or to which continent do you want to travel.
So share you ideas or thoughts.

Anyway my idea for TES5 would be: the entire continent of tamriel.
The story would be something like: you are the son or daughter of the hero in TES4, the empire is in war and your father/mother died while going to war.
now it's up to you to take the role of general from you parent.
you can decide to either conquer or free each continent of tamriel.

While an interesting concept, it kind of, well...doesn't feel very Elder Scrolls-ish.

I'd like to see stuff like local and global reputation (be a hero in one town while being generally regarded as evil everywhere else depending on your deeds, that sort of thing.)

I'd like to see variable prices on items in different regions of the gamespace (a province or all of Tamriel), leading to a trading engine ganked from a game like Mount and Blade.

I'd like to see a crafting system worthy of an MMO. Every scrap of junk in the gameworld should have a use.

And just for kicks, I'd like to see some sort of magic-powered analogue of Fallout 3's Rock-It Launcher. That thing was awesome.

I admit it is kind of fable-ish but I grew attached to the world and its character's.
also it can add a kind of epic-ish

Frankly, I just hope they get out of the uncanny valley, I normally don't care about graphics, but there is something about it which puts me off

Until they put procedurally generated dark brotherhood quests in, the newer TES games will remain incomplete.

I'm going to agree with SimuLord, here, and say that it wouldn't feel very Elder Scrolls-ish. Besides, aren't there a few provinces left: Skyrim, Valenwood, Elswyr, the Black Marsh, Summerset Isle...

In any case, I just want to see TES 5...

Want, want, want!!!!

And I would want it even more if it were to have less voice acting, allowing more choice, more branching of the quests. Like in Morrowind.

I also want Morrowind-style books. When my hands begin to ache, there is fun to be had reading those short stories.

Fast travel: yes, but make it plausable. Public transportation plus magic. Like in Morrowind.

Hmmm... Morrowind, in a new setting?

Speaking of stealing from M&B, give us mounted combat. It's been shown that it's do-able, and very well so.

The official elder scrolls forum has loads of threads that have well over 100 pages of suggestions. Mine are amonst them and were actually popular with the community.

So much potential... so much room for disaster.

This thread about TESV seems to be popping up more and more, like people are getting agitated by the long silence. But alas stuff about the game has leaked. Some guy doing a TES book slipped up and mentioned it was 200 years after the end of TESIV, and there was also a leak (or rumour) about the location. Skyrim I believe.

I think it will end up being a battle against Akavir. The Empire is weak after the Oblivion incident and in some book in the game somewhere it mentions that the Emperor of the Taesci has vowed an assault on Tamriel. I think you will probably have to serve as an emissary to the leader of the Empire, whoever that ends up being, to unite the lands against a common enemy. Then may be you go fight in Skyrim or something.

I would like the game to be something like that, anyway. Opening up all of Tamriel would be totally kickass and I think that they could pull it off, especially if they wait to put it out till the next-gen consoles.

Considering Morrowind and Oblivion you start out as a prisoner. No one knows who you are, having a story behind the character doesn't seem right. If anything I'd like to see the Blackmarsh, all swampy like and dark. Lots of places they could make a game out of... I mean if each daedric prince has their own world, see what they did for Shivering Isles. My bet is for the size of the land probably needed to be used to match Morrowind or Oblivion is to do multiple regions and tie a story between warring countries, cliche' much but who cares.

A map of the continent.
