You may well have realised by now that at least twice a week, someone will post a topic on their favourite game, or will ask for lists of your all time favourites. What I intend to do here (with the mercy of the mods should they see this topic fit for unlock-dom) is list your favouite five games, numbered from 1 to 5, with 1 being your favourite.
Then, Each position will be assigned a score
1st- 6 points
2nd- 4 Points
3rd- 3 Points
4th- 2 Points
5th- 1 Point
The extra point for 1st place is extra kudos for being that members favourite.
I will then endeavour to add up the scores for every game listed, and assign the title of Favourite Game to the winner. If I have time, I will also do so by generations (I.E current gen award, along with a pre 7th generation award).
Then maybe, just maybe, this will exorcise the need for these top ten lists appearing here there and everywhere. Also feel free to comment along with it. A bland list topic would be better off for a little debate and reasoning.
