With the amount of stabbings and gang activity in my town I've started wondering if a group of people could clean up the streets, daydreaming is probably a better word actually.

Anyway seeing as it's almost 2am and I have nothing else to do, I want to know if anyone on The Escapist has ever toyed with the idea of fixing their community.

If so what would your training, signature and alias be?

Totally. I'm actually planning on being a cop when I get older so I can help the community. I live in Toronto, so if you've heard anything about the G20 summit a few weeks ago, you don't realize how much I wanted to take down the people causing damage to the city.

Nah, the south of england is pretty tame. There's not much for me to do. Unless I went up to london but then I'd probably die.

Psht, toyed with? I did something about it! I went to a special academy where we learned to combat the darkest parts of society, and upon my graduation from said studies I went back to my hometown to take back the streets and truly make a difference!

Of course, I'm talking about becoming a teacher...

I assume you mean in a more 'Kick ass' sort of way.

Yes, when I was in high-school a girl got brutally assaulted and left in a field outside of town to die. I didn't really know her, but the dorky ones of us sat around talking about forming our own league of crazy crime fighters, and the most we did was get some laughs from people.

The rednecks began patrolling town in their stomper trucks threatening minorities.

The 'adults' of the community started a neighborhood watch on the other side of town from where she was attacked.

None of these things did anything, but I'd like to think we had the best plan of action.

If I were to be a vigilante though, I'd be Zephyr, dark gunman who sweeps through at night blowing crime away without being seen... Emphasis on stealth and efficiency. My catchphrase would be a tape recording of the wind blowing.

I used to work for the police up here and I've gotta say, there were times I wished there were some costumed vigilantes out there. It would make walking a beat at 3am a little bit less freaky.

Nah, the south of england is pretty tame. There's not much for me to do. Unless I went up to london but then I'd probably die.

Yeah I live there too and it is a lot safer than places like London and Bristol. But it is only a matter of time.

I've thought about it. Or something like it, anyway. Or just wearing a costume and hiding in my local park in the evenings to scare people. It's kinda the same. I might lower the drug rate in my town.

That's actually a good idea. Except it would be stooping to their level.

See we don't have many guns here in England apart from farmers and fox hunters . But if it got to the point when they were being used in my area Batman would have to step in.
