Bad by Michael jackson on a cassette from a car boot sale when I was 6. Not a bad first album, I don't think.

No idea, it would have been on vinyl, and it would have been something really dorky like Michael Jackson or Prince. Or WHAM!

I got the Beatle's greatest Hits when I was 8 and loved every track. I lost it when I was 12, but found it recently and played it non-stop, from start to end - still on of my favourites.

I really don't remember. The first one I bought may have been Roxette's "Look Good", but the first one properly added to my collection is Pop Muzik, by M.

Both pretty embarrassing.

Americana, also by the Offspring, and probably even better than Conspiracy of One (but I like all their albums)

I bought this Crazy Frog album when I was like 8. My recent one is much better:

Prophet of the Last Eclipse!

Huzzah for Luca Turilli!

On Topic: I believe the first album I ever specifically purchased myself was Steven Curtis Chapman's Signs of Life, an album I'm not embarrassed to own but haven't listened to for ages.

First album I owned was the Backstreet Boys self-titled album.

First album I personally purchased with my own hard earned cash was Satellite by P.O.D. And it was a damn good album.

Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. It was vinyl. I played it so much it was scratched to crap.

First album I ever bought was Skeletal Lamping by Of Montreal roughly a year ago; it was, and continues to be, the soundtrack of my life.

I've been told I "bought" a Louis Armstrong vinyl from a relative when I was about 5. First CD possibly Offspring's Americana, but I'm positive there where a few cassette albums before that, can't remember what though.

Just made my day a lot better. I've finally met someone who knows him!
