This is going to sound so cliche Canadian but it's -6 degrees Celsius right now and as far as I'm concerned ITS FUCKING HOT OUTSIDE. Seriously, I was sweating in my car on my way to school today, and the snow's all melting so everyone's splashing salty, gravelly water droplets at my car that stick to the windshield and make it hard to see.

Wearing a light jacket, no hat or gloves, and the zipper only halfway up. AWWW YEAH

You get snow?!?!?!?! Man the closest Brisbane got to snowfall was a massive hailstorm that left something like 6 inches of ice debris.

I've never seen snow fall. Maybe I should travel to Sweden this time next year!!

It's getting to that point in winter: when it's warm enough to melt the snow but the temperature is too inconsistant to melt it all at once.

It's fucking wet, not too cold and dirty snow is everywhere.

Right now I'm wearing bugger all cause the heat makes everything chaffe and the humidity is so high I don't need to take a shower in order to get wet. Now that's FUCKING HOT!

It was really cold today, -25 C, and my son had a school field day. They were prepared to cancel if the weather had been "too warm" (=no ice to skate on, no snow to ski on), but "too cold" was not considered a problem. His teacher actually suggested I keep my son home if I didn't want him out risking facial frostbite. I know I'm supposed to be a Swedish viking, but I guess my ancestors were the little sissy vikings who preferred to spend their winters by the fire, making poems.
