No doubt you have all noticed that we are experiencing a time of great adversity and general negativity. Everybody's sh*t is all emotional right now, with all of this war and starvation and global strife and sh*t, but I happened to be searching the YouTube for inspiration and the Lord of the Funk saw fit to bestow upon me these gems, which I now pass down to you.

Our forums have become too negative. I therefore implore you, in the spirit of the Funk, to post your own ass-moving good music. Share with us a piece of music so lively, so imbued with the righteous power of the funk that you cannot possibly sit still while listening to it. You can bring in anything that has an inescapable beat or makes you smile, bob your head or wave your arms like a lunatic. We want joyous and energetic music that gets you up and dancing, celebrating and just generally making a scene. We want things like this:

Mate, great thread and everything, but how on earth is Benny Goodman supposed to be funk!!? I mean, I can understand the occasional incident of someone confusing disco for funk, or even soul for funk... but swing music? It's from a completely different era! Still great though.

By the way your other examples all appear in the soundtrack for Driver: Parallel lines. The game itself was average, but the soundtrack was absolutely outstanding and I recommend it to anyone who likes funk, or just 70s music in general. Just stay away from the modern music on the soundtrack *shudder*

As for ACTUAL game funk music. There is only one option:
