And by hang out, I do not mean that if you picked Master Chief you'd be fighting in space along side him or doing what they do in life. I mean the game character you'd invite over to your place for an hour to just...you know...HANG OUT.

I have a few, Alyx Vance would be nice company, and plus every circle of friends needs a female.
Although he'd probably be a douche, I'd want to hang out with Fox McCloud occasionally (he more than likely be a friend of a friend I'd rarely see)

Odd choices I know, but that was just from the top of my head.

Honestly I would like to shill out with the cast of Gears of War, Masterchief and the Arbiter, Cortana and all the other central cast of the Halo trilogy, the crew of Mass Effect, the cast of Saint's Row 2 and the cast of Half Life (series) and a few Vortigaunts, the people from Soul Calibur, the survivors in Left 4 Dead and of course Mario.
We could then all have one big social dinner party and see where the night takes us.

If we could talk about female characters I'd be willing to date it would have to be Zoey from Left 4 Dead as she's the closest thing to my idea girlfriend.
