what game will you never get rid of? for me it's actually two games, the usual final fantasy VII as well as crash bandicoot 2.

Almost every single game in my library right now.

If I wanted to trade them in, I would have already.

Halo: Combat Evolved. I already have 3 copies + CEA. I have probably put more hours into this campaign than every other game I have played combined (except AoE2).

I have a shelf full of games I'll always own.

Bearing in mind I'm the kind of sad bastard that replays 10-15 year old games regularly, this is inevitable. How could I do away with Planescape: Torment or Civ 2?

(Which reminds me, I haven't played through Final Fantasy 5 in a couple of years...)

I like keeping all my games.

But I'm never going to lose possession of Baldur's Gate 2. It's annoying to install with the 6 Disks or whatever but I just love it so much.

I've hung onto my original copy of Giants: Citizen Kabuto (yay obscurity) even though I'm pretty sure it doesn't even run on my current PC.

Pretty much the ones I liked e.g. I kept most of the Gamecube games I love playing (SSBM, Timesplitter 2 & 3 etc) while the ones I least liked like Beach Spiker and Super Monkey Ball get traded in.

Supreme commander. I have the original and the expansion. I also had the misfortune to purchase the sequel which dissapointed me greatly.

I highly doubt that another game like Supreme commander will be made anytime soon so I doubt I will ever get rid of it, the graphics seem to age fairly well too although they don't really matter since im always zoomed too far out to make them out anyway.
If I am zoomed in then how am I supposed to simultaneously command a giant robot and several hundred smaller robots and tanks along with the 80 fighter strong air force and navy complete with doomsday submersible battleships that have cannons bigger than most of my factories?

Warcraft 3 and diablo 2, I'm not that much of a Blizzard fanboy but those are two games that have never gotten old for me and probably never will. Also I'm kind of proud for my Battlefield collection and will probably never get rid of them either.

I dont really ever get rid of my games as in I dont trade them in or sell them but in theory if I were to do so I would keep hold of Bubble Bobble (C64) - I still have this even though my C64 was flogged at a car boot sale along with every other game by my folks while I was away. I was not particularly happy when I found out the only reason this game was saved was because I kept it separate due to liking it so much (and I dont know why I kept it separate I just did, good job too).

Other games would be FFVII I would never sell this game I dont even let my friends borrow my original copy just the platinum one.

Valkyria Chronicles loved this game always want to keep it same with Okami, the only other one I would never be without is Xenoblade Chronicles all these games bring back so many happy memories that I would be quite upset if I lost them.

Rome Total War and Civilisation III.

I think I've actually bought about 5 copies of these games each, simply because their predecessors have been destroyed due to scratches.

Secret of Mana, Yoshi's Island and Street Fighter 2 on the SNES.
And Fallout 2, lots of love for Fallout 2 and Baldur's Gate 1 and 2

I also have FF7 but I don't have a Playstation atm.

I think you should be able to get it running without too much of a fuzz. My friends and I play long sessions of it at LAN-parties. A really awesome game.

OT:
Games that I refuse to get rid of what-so-ever:
NiGHTS Into Dreams... (Saturn) play it every christmas.
SSB (N64) so many good memories.
Street Skater (PS1) just for the soundtrack.
FFVII (PS1) not because I love the game though, but because of my brother.
Jet Set Radio Future (Xbox) AAAAAWWW-YEEEEAAAHHH!
Beyond Good & Evil (Xbox) I really should not have to give you a reason for that..
