Ok Escapee, time for confession. What are the girly things things that you do for whatever reason?

Me? Recently I've been listening to Taylor Swift... like... not against my will and everything. I don't know why, but her songs are catchy.

So what about you guys?

My family frequently watches the women's network on TV, and I must say, some of the shows are actually kind of entertaining. I feel gay whenever I watch it though.

I don't know, maybe I think about emotions? Ask someone who knows me and you might get a better answer.

I talk to girls without the thought of having sex with them even entering my head. Yes, I am straight.

I watch Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice and a whole bunch of "chickflicks", all voluntarily.

I can be quite whiny if that counts? I can also switch modes very quickly and without warning. Not quite Bi-polar with that, since I am fully aware my mode switches, and usually my thinking about something causes it.

I can't think of anything except that I cry during sad moments in movies and games.

My girlfriend suckered me into watching Gilmore Girls and after a while I started enjoying it. It`s a brain dead activity that is very suited sometimes when I come from work very tired.

Of course the girlie activity must be washed away after consumption by fist fighting bears and such but I don`t mind.

I wear steel capped boots and swear like it's going out of fashion. Then again, my definition of female behaviour is vastly different from that of most people, or so I've found.

Now because I love to over-analyse this kind of thing I'm going to take issue with the "confession" bit of that. Having stereotypically female habits isn't a sin as the word implies. I'm not saying that the OP is sexist (though the presumption that there are only males reading this thread caught my eye) it's more the general cultural attitude to that kind of thing which intrigues me. As it is the approach seems to be that men displaying 'feminine' characteristics are bad. Women displaying 'masculine' characteristics are lesbians or just tough.

And didn't die.

I absolutely melt in the face of any cat, and I'm not above crying during a movie/game if there's a sad moment. Heck, just hearing certain music from some games tugs at the tear ducts.
