Just a question to find out if Lady Gaga and all the other so called "artists." Have taken over (I certainly Hope Not)

But anyway in my opinion Either AC/DC, Led Zepplin, or Guns 'n Roses

Artist of what? There are so many different forms of media out there classified as art, and you can't really compare Lady Gaga to Caravaggio.

I have a softspot personaly for Beethoven and Mozart, for the Moonlight Sonata and Final Requiem. I do enjoy a handful of MJ's songs...But for lasting appeal I don't really have a set "best musical artist" and I don't understand visual art, so no worth in my opinion on that either. To be less of an indecisive sod, I suppose I'd have to pick Bach simply for Toccata and Fugue in D minor, it does drag on a bit at some bits but it's a beautiful piece of work through and through.
