I don't get the reaction. I honestly don't. To me, the trailer seems laughably stupid rather than anger inducing. The whole way I was thinking: Why are those nuns in high heels? Those nun costumes are alright but what was the point of them? Why are they blowing up a shitty motel in broad daylight? The whole time I was just wondering, what the hell did I just see? And then I see on so many sites a massive reaction, and I was honestly confused. I thought at first the problem was with man-on-woman violence, and then it didn't seem right since every other hitman game has that, along with like, a million other games, and, it would be unrealistic and sexist to complain about that specific topic when thinking about how the video had women gunning for the man.
And so now I think, is it the silly porno outfits that caused the disdain. But then, again, loads of other games have this same issue, and so it seems odd that it comes up now. Then I thought it was the trailer basically lying about what would be in the game. There isn't going to be any outdoor, slow-mo gunfights with scantily dressed women while shit burns in the background, but then again, the types of comment I read don't seem like that's the problem.
I don't know what the base problem is. The serious issue which everyone else sees as serious with the trailer. By all means I accept that my train of thought is wrong here, but I honestly need enlightenment as to what the big problem was, or if there was actually a problem and not an overreaction to something.
