Well only now I just found out about this trailer after a week too late, but anyways here it is.

So far what it shows tells us kinda nothing since we have absolutely no context as to what is going on, and there is no voice lines from the actors.

Lets see *looks it up* Oh good, Jhonen Vasquez is directly involved in creating it.

Nick is really trying to reclaim its glory days with the Hey Arnold, Rocko's Modern Life and now this movie.

Hey Arnold movie was a mixed bag for me. As is it was ok, but I kinda disagree with how it concluded.

Rocko hasn't come out yet.

Now if only Danny Phantom can come back, but seeing what's going on with Butch-y boy in the internet, that's pretty much a never :(

And Avatar, we still haven't found out what happened to Zuko's mother and I don't know if the Comics are considered canon or not.

Sadly, the comics are considered canon, but most fans like me, choose to ignore them.

Invader Zim, I wasn't the biggest fan, but I watched occasionally. I feel indifferent honestly, yet if it makes the fans happy, so be it.

I think the comics for Avatar are canon.

As for Danny Phantom, yeah. Though I give more reason as to why that show was successful to Steve Marmel, the main head writer of the first 2 seasons.

I've genuinely never seen the show. Does it hold up?
I think so. Honestly, I'm surprised it was on Nickelodeon at all(which is probably why it got canceled, because it was too dark for the kiddies, it seems). If it had come out a few years later, it probably would have been on adult swim or at very least cartoon network.

Sadly, there were a number of plot threads that never got closure when the show ended.

Invader Zim was dark? Really?

Why? Because he was trying to conquer the world? I didn't think it was that much darker than Pinky and the Brain.

I was kind of meh on the show overall. The episode, Parent Teacher Night, was absolutely hilarious but it was one of few that really stood out to me.

There was an episode where Zim rips a kids eyes out and replaces them with synthetic ones.

Or even Dark Harvest, where Zim has human organs coming out of his body.

Dark might be going too far but it was one of the most messed up Nicktoons.

There was also the episode where due to Zim messing around with rubber piggies and a time machine, Dib kept getting more and more crippled in the present due to injuries sustained in the past(as he was growing up), which is kinda terrifying. At least until it started backfiring and Dib ended up getting more and more of his crippled body replaced by mecha parts making him incredibly strong and dangerous.

Or the apparent far future where humanity lives in terrified fear of a fake santa claus(before futurama did it).

Invader Zim was a bit of a mixed bag for me. It was definitely really funny and a mostly enjoyed it, but I think it strayed into "weird for the sake of weird" stuff a bit too often for my liking. Mainly how bizarre and stupid the non-main character humans and their society are. The show might as well have been about Zim invading a non-human planet given how far removed the world portrayed in the show is from our own. I get that's kinda the point, but I think they could have gotten a lot more mileage out Zim interacting with a society that is completely foriegn and strange to him but relatively normal to the viewer, rather than one that is completely alien to both the main characters and the viewer. Kinda like the human explaining human things to an alien meme, only the alien would be Zim and therefore far funnier

Better check your dates, because the Futurama episode, Xmas Story, aired in 1999 and Invader Zim didn't air until 2001.
