It's called The Kite Runner, by:Khaled Hosseini. If you haven't read it
yet, start reading it now...........

















I'm only on Chapter ten & i'm gettin' all emotional. No fictional story has
ever made me want to cry, besides WALL-E & the Tigger Movie of course./>




Is this what that acursed Twilight book is like? Filling the reader with
emotion? Making them hate characters with the same disgust as their own
mortal enemies? while forcing me to love the protagonists as if they were
my own child? feeling the sharp sting in my heart every time poor Hassan
has to endure the pains of his unfair lifestyle? Causing me to curl into a
ball of tears while still clutching the book in my hands, right before I
fall off of my chair, snap back into reality & remember that it's just a
novel?

that book was amazing
have you read his other book? "a thousand splendid suns", its about the middle east conflict from the eyes of two women, really nice done
and if you like these books, try "The Elephant Man"

I have been meaning to read that book for a while now.... just haven't gotten round to it!

I read it as part of an English class, and it was very, very good, very well-written and everything. It kind of served as a precursor of sorts to Slumdog Millionaire, depending on how you look at it, IIRC.
