Yeah, I get why 'the last thing you killed' threads are tedious :D

What game are you looking forward to? Doesn't have to be a next year release, just has to be a game that has got you seriously pumped but it isn't out yet, might even just even be in rumour stage, for example, The Last Guardian, The Agent, LA Noire, Diablo 3.

I'm personally pumped for Diablo 3, its been AGES since I addictivly played Diablo 2, made a clan and ruled supreme etc, I am almost certain I will see a few familiar people from the old days of Diablo 2 and I will almost certainly restart the clan I had. I'm also looking forward to Duke Nukem, because it's been a while, though I'm concerned it won't come anywhere near meeting the hype.

Where the hell is my Kingdom Hearts 3 man?! I love those games, and I've been waiting and waiting for a new one that isn't portable. Also, Portal 2, with those extremely cute little robots for co-op.

And GW2.

Then I am also wanting to hear how TOR does as I have a friend who is going to get it on release. I personally won't be buying it as I have been burned by MMOs too often and I don't want Bioware's first time they burn me to be on an MMO. Hoping it works out for them though.

Definitely Brink. I hope it's as good as it seems. I always hate these threads, they remind me I have to wait months before getting the game, lol.

Pokemon Black/White I guess. I see nothing in the near future that I really can be bothered with.

Doom 4.

If, as has been suggested, it goes back to the old school you live by the gun, they die by the thousand gameplay of the originals then I'll be a happy bunny.

Timesplitters 4 (it might exist!)
Mass Effect 3 (preferably with more turian sexing)
TS4, Free Radical is thinking about it, but after Haze, they have every reason to be worried :/

I think they should go ahead and make it. TS4 would be different, besides, they have ther creators of Crysis on side :D

ME3, portal 2, arkham city, uncharted 3 and deus ex 3 are highest on the list. I'm sure there are others as well.
EDIT: Oh, and the 3DS of course!!

Games I'm looking forward to for next year (excitement level on the 1-10 scale in parentheses)

Skyward Sword (10), but they're now being sketchy on when it is coming out. Hopefully they're changing the enemies so they don't look as goofy as the fellas we saw in the demo...

I was assuming it was going to arrive in January, but it looks like March or later is more likely now. Shame. Now I really have nothing to look forward to until March.

Other than that...
Mass Effect 3 (10)
Dragon Age 2 (8)
Skyrim (8)
LA Noire (6. If it looks too much like GTA in terms of gameplay, then I'll probably hold off on it. The sandbox genre really needs some innovation)
Arkham city (5. I was getting bored midway through Arkham Asylum, so we'll see on this one)

And that's it.

Free Radical is now a part of Crytek as far as I know.

And from what I've heard, they'll be creating another Timesplitters if they can find a publisher.
And with how fucking awesome the Timesplitters games were, unless the entire publishing section of the gaming industry is made of ass, then finding a publisher shouldn't be too difficult.
Wouldn't be suprised if Sony snagged it up, TS2&3 sold consoles for Sony, it would make sense. Yeah, Crytek owns Free Radical. The Crytek team would of course allow Free Rad to utilise it's engine, so TS4 would look simply divine, even with cartoony graphics.

I just hope they don't fall into the generic Haze hole, TS2 & 3 were superb in every way, but what made them more fun was the explosion of different multiplayer options and characters to choose from.
