Now, I'm a collector of action figures. Specifically, Transformers. However, although I generally keep to collecting JUST Transformers, I occasionally pick up other kinds of figures.

Like most of the gaming community at this point, I love Bioshock Infinite. And like alot of things, there's an action figure line attached to it, made by NECA. So I took a look at the figures, to see if any of them interested me.

When I saw this one, I thought:

Well, that's nice. Not particularly interested, though.

When I saw this one, I thought:

Hmm, now that's a bit cooler than the first one. Still, the Boys of Silence weren't really in the game that much. I'll pass.

But when I saw this one:

...take my money. Right now. That thing is AMAZING. It's... beautiful.

So, yeah, I'm sitting on the edge of my chair waiting for that thing to hit store shelves.

What about the rest of you?

Well, I haven't really bought anything recently that amounted to a SUATMM situation, however I did pledge to the kickstarter for Richard Garriot's new game "Shroud of the Avatar." I'm probably too optimistic about it, but I can't help but feel this game will rock my socks, so I donated a bit to it. I am excited to see what comes of it.

I have a SUATMM reaction in storage ready to spring the moment they announce Fallout 4, but for now Bethesda is not saying a peep. It has to be their (Bethsoft's) next big non-MMO release, right? RIGHT?! I CAN'T TAKE IT I WANT THIS GAME!!

When I heard Dream of the Sky from Miracle of Sound I fell in love. I immediately went out and bought Level 3 for over the asking price and Haven't regretted it at all. It's incredible... I mean I shouldn't have been surprised since I already knew all the songs before they came out, but still XD

Before that, It was probably the Halo 3: ODST soundtrack. Though that was more of a retroactive shutup and take my money experience. An "Oh my god this is amazing" thing if you will. I had never gotten around to buying it, and boy was it worth it. It was far less... actioney... than the original trilogy's music, but it was really good, especially Deference for Darkness and Traffic Jam.

I will be all over that Elizabeth figurine!

Wargame: Airland battle needs to hurry up and become available to pre-purchase so they can take my money.

And Little Witch Academia needs to become a series so they can take my money

Iron man 3. I noticed it had a midnight showing and just rang my friend to say he could come along if he wanted to but I was prepared to go alone (though I wouldn't be alone, i'd be with iron man).

Worth it.

Two things made me do this recently, though neither one is close to being released.

First is Dark Souls 2, for obvious reasons, since I'm a huge fan of the Souls games.
Second is Transistor, from the guys who made Bastion, because it looks and sounds breathtaking, and because the combat fascinates me.

You're always with Iron Man...in your heart! *single tear*

On a more topic-ey line: I splurged out on the Telltale bundle sale on Good Old Games this past weekend. I say splurged out but it was only about £20 for a bunch of great games DRM free. Now I'm spending all week absorbing as much Sam & Max as is humanly possible before moving on to Monkey Island. Money well shut upped and takened.

Fire Emblem.
But I don't have a 3DS or the money for them to shut up and take. :(

I'll be buying it for my birthday next month.

That one's easy.

My Sonos speaker set up.

I went to a training night on them, not knowing what sonos was and my exact words after the demo were "here, take my money" as I handed over my wallet.

It did help that I got/get 50% off all sonos products as a training roadshow promotion ;D

I am a compulsive shopper so I have many things that make me want to say that.
This is also why i never go to the evangelion store in harajuku.

I went to see the band Death last week (actually it was "Death to All", which is more of a tribute to the original Death, but all the members were the same except the singer, who died about 10 years ago). Well, there was an autographed copy of Cynic's first album "Focus" for sale there (Cynic and Death share a lot of the same members). I also bought an awesome Death hoodie.

I also had the feeling the moment I watched the video for Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. I'm thrilled you don't even need Far Cry 3 to play it either.

I also have a problem that anytime I see a guitar pedal or something that is decently priced, I grab it, usually whether I need it or not.
