That is a computer virus not the other kind that, well you know. I am on my gf's archaic laptop right now because mine's in the shop. I tried watching MAG gameplay on game trailers and thats when I got one. I'm suspecting a xbox fanboy somehow put it on the site to punish the ps fanboys. I'm neither, We are gamers, We should be as one.

Whelp, it screwed my computer over royally, pushing forward my plans for a complete upgrade/revamp.
Every morning up until the upgrade, though? Constant computer scans, and trying to keep it as under control as I could.
(If it's particularly malicious, keep your computer off until it's fixed, really. Just fyi. )

Last time I got a virus it paralyser my computer so badly it even kicked me out of it by removing me as an administrator...

So I called my mate who sorted it out for me!

My older brother is the one that would usually fuck our computer up. Last virus he got was when he downloaded a dodgy crack file for some program because it was only the 14 day trial. We formatted our computer after that, and I have a laptop now, haven't got any virus' on here.

The only virus I have ever got was when I was 12 I think and was downloading music off LimeWire.

The last virus had crashed my desktop in a matter of minutes (20-30). I have no idea what source it was from as I waas running several things at once, but whatever it was brought my computer to a halt and caused the major hardware to kill itself. I brought it into the shop some time in june and haven't heard from the people since.

I've been running a corporate version of Symantec antivirus since I put this PC together almost a year ago and have had ZERO problems of any kind... And before that I was running Linux/Ubuntu...

My first computer I just threw out since I didn't know what to do, and I was planning on buying a new one anyway. The second computer I just reformatted. The third computer I haven't had any problems with, mainly since I got rid of Norton and purchased Mcafee. I've used Mcafee for three years now and haven't had a single problem and I'm online nearly every day. I've had a few viruses of course, but Mcafee was actually able to clean them, unlike Norton.
