SO! We have our villains who make these really cool and dangerous returns, and then we have...the "Just Die Already" crowds, the villains we just wish would go the fuck away.
This is largely thanks to someone reminding me about Seymour "Obviously Evil" Guado, a man who is - frankly - not important to the main plot of FFX and never will be. Let's see here...
You see him for the first time and he summons a monstrous Aeon to kill monsters and...yeah, he's a bad guy. You talk to him ever and he's just some kinda' creep who's basically going "No, really. I'm totally trustworthy." the whole time, a situation which includes killing his dad for power and all that B-plot stuff of him assuming power in Spira while trying to *Snerk* set himself up as the next Sin.
Let's get a rundown of his fights.
{1} You fight his aeon and then him with his helpers and...he dies. Everyone knows he dies and their religion says "Release his soul to the afterlife!", but fuck the rules, right?
{2} So, you get back at him while he's started to gain power as a Fiend and then...somehow he doesn't die-die like any Fiend you kill. No reason given, really.
{3} Third time, he's flying his own undead cruiser now and finally it looks like he's dead, buuut...
{4} We still have one more lame battle, and could he be anymore lame and full of himself? It's called Seymour Omnis and he started off this fight by laughably saying he was going to take over Sin from the inside (because he is both dead and inside Sin at the time). We all know Jecht would punt him, easy. And speaking of easy, I just beat this with Aeons, whatever Aeons are immune to his elemental discs. I didn't even care.
And that's the lame that is Seymour, everybody. He was dead thrice over and he wouldn't stop bothering us. What've you guys got?
(Oh, and obviously Ultimecia is also on the list. I need not explain that one.)
