The longest you've slept, the longest you've been awake.

I just woke up. I went to sleep at 07:30 AM, and I woke up about half an hour ago, at 09:30 PM. So that's 14 hours of sleeping, which is the longest I ever slept.

Last week I stayed awake for 46 hours, without any other help than habanero chips. Longest period of waking ever.

What's the longest you've ever been awake, and the longest you've slept?

139 hours awake. (5 days, 19 hours)

That nearly killed me. I was okay after 20 hours. Around the 35-hour mark, fine co-ordination began to be difficult (writing, or picking up small objects was tricky). Near to 50 hours, I began to feel sluggish when I moved, and also began to black out for a few seconds at a time. At roughly 80 hours, the need to sleep was like a constant ache, and I couldn't really think. After that I felt less of a need to sleep, but the blackouts were more frequent, even if I was doing something (as opposed to just sitting). I also started to hallucinate - I was hearing and seeing things. At around 120 hours, I began to black out more frequently, but for shorter times - almost like tiny flickers where my brain seemed to switch off and back on again, and even thinking was difficult.

The strange thing was, even at that late stage, I was still partially functional - I was awake during a fire in my hometown, and over those days we managed to keep most of it under control, even with the intense disadvantages that came with the sleep deprivation.

This time was unremarkable - I remember nothing, don't even remember a single dream. How boring.

The longest I've ever slept is about 12 hours, and that's with tons of Haldol, Seroquel, Olanzapine and Zopiclone in me. Longest I've been awake us about 5 days. By that time, my psychosis combined with the sleep-deprived hallucinations made me paranoid that there were gnomes in my shower. Fucking gnomes. In my fucking shower. I had to squat pee over the sink in the kitchen, and could not go in the bathroom for any reason, cos you don't fuck with gnomes. Then I fell asleep and it was nice.

The longest I've stayed awake is 3 days. the longest I've slept was 22 hours. Awake for an entire music festival and slept all the way through the journey back and for most of the next day.

Longest i've been awake was about 3 days.
Longest i've slept was about 17hrs, IIRC. That was after a few days of me getting between 3-5hrs of sleep every night and i finally got long enough to have a decent sleep.

I'm apparently a wimp; the longest that I've stayed up was 31 hours. I also can't manage to sleep more than 12 hours.

Longest awake was about 79 hours, where I then slept for about 13 hours after that followed by a 5 hour sleep a couple hours later, my longest sleep ever.

Longest I've ever been awake is two and a half days, so appoximately 60 hours. Longest I've ever slept I think is 21 hours, but on an average day I sleep for about 12 hours if I don't have to go anywhere the next day.

Longest awake is something like 38 hours at a lan. Nothing remarkable, but I've never had the urge to stay up for more than 26 hours. After that I just say fuck it and go to sleep.

Longest I've slept I have no idea. Probably somewhere around 15 hours.

36 hours of sleep. Best bloody time in my life! I was very ill one summer, and when I went asleep in the late evening I woke up in the morning, two days after.

Roughly 46 hours awake. Me and a friend of mine decided to have an all-nighter playing CS, Worms, and an RTS you've never heard of, called Celtic Kings. Then, we decided to have another one.

Longest awake: Hard to tell. I think something from 35-50 hours. However, I don't really sleep sometimes, and get well-rested. I can just lie in bed, half-awake, and still feel like I've gotten enough sleep, so technically, the longest I've been awake was 200 hours.

In one go, probably around a day while being sick. I once spent about eight days doing nothing but laying in my bed, sleeping most of the time, however.

Longest time awake can't be more than 48 hours.

Back when I played WoW, my friend and I had a marathon on the game to see who could get to level 70 (the cap at the time) first from starting new characters. I think it was almost three days of nearly non-stop playing until he dropped and I ended being close enough to 70 that I stayed up another whole day to get there. I slept for more than 24 hours after that.

Not counting post-surgery/sickness twilight zone, I slept 24 hours once. I used to be able to do that as a teen, and on a cold day under the covers you forget why you ever wanted to get up in the first place.
I've been 47 hours awake, and I know that because I've always been disappointed in missing the 2-day mark. I used to get this thing in university where some nights I just "chose" not sleep. I can't explain that impulse, but it was rare.
