I have Bioware going to win the entire thing, beating out Bethesda in the final round. I'm wondereing if I should switch that around though, curse my indecisive nature.

I am sorta stuck, at Round 3 and 4, because I want Bioware to do well, but all the news has definitely caused people on the forums to hate Bioware to death. There are also a lot of good competitions between companies and it's such a difficult decision >.<

Yeah, pretty sure my opinion will change closer to march 8. If you see a lot of threads praising bioware, set them to win after the ME3 launches

Going strictly based off last year, I put From Software on top. Dark Souls was my favorite game this year, really fun to play and aside from some framerate issues, it was mostly bug free.

All BioWare contributed to last year was Dragon Age 2, which was pretty mediocre and forgettable. Skyrim was fun, but not much more than that.

Put Valve in second for Portal 2 and some of the TF2 content that came out last year.

Then again, I put the developers I like in the brackets, so I'm pretty sure I'll be pretty wrong when the time actually comes. I don't think BioWare is getting very far at all this year though.

Yeah but bioware will get votes for Me3 and that other space related game they just launched.

Yeah, read what I just added, I didn't choose what I thought would win, I choose what I personally liked. I still don't think BioWare will be getting points because people are pretty pissed off at them lately.

You're assuming people will be basing their votes on the games released this year. Bioware has had a very strong history of games and has a huge fanbase in general. You can be pretty damn sure that it is at least going to make the semi-finals, if not the finals. The voting begins after Mass Effect 3 is released, by the way. So you should take that into account as well.

I assume Bethesda is going to win this year though. Their popularity has exploded since the release of Skyrim, even though the game is incredibly flawed. Not sure how far Mojang will get...

Certainly I'm aware of that, I'm just going off the concept that people will still be bitter over Dragon Age 2 and the Day-One ME3 DLC that many people on this forum are promising to boycott ME3 over. (I doubt they actually will do it, but it's a possibility)

The general opinion of them here has severely diminished over the past year or so, and even though BioWare does has a strong library of games, I don't think that will be enough for a lot of people to get over it.

Ideally it should be for the past year alone, otherwise what's the point of having it every year, but I digress.

No doubt Bethesda will go far, like they do every year. They haven't done a whole lot to piss people off either.

I've picked Valve as the winner against Atlus in the final. Two companies that nobody seems to hate at all. Bethesda and From Software makes up the top 4. The odd thing is that the ones I personally like, I haven't picked half the time. So I'm either going to end up happy that I may end up being some sort of prediction master or happy that people like the same companies as much as I do.

I'm concerned that both Zynga and Riot are in this. We all remember the Zynga incident from the last time they were in this. Riot also has a massive fanbase that they are in incredibly tight conneciton with. They just need to mention that they're competing in their launcher's news section as well as Nikisaur's weekely updates and they'll have a massive pool of people pulling for them.

Lot good games this year, though I think Bethesda and Bioware would be the favourites if the voting is based on games released this year. Personally I think Skyrim will edge it for Bethesda.

I voted for the developers I like as a gamer, not who I expect to win.
That said, got Bioware pegged for a first place, closely followed by Taleworlds(2), Lucas Arts(3) and Bethesda(4). Will probably never happen, but meh.

In the end I picked Bethesda even though I still haven't been able to get into Skyrim, I have sunk an embarrasing amount of time into Fallout 3, Morrowind and Oblivion. I have sunk more time in Bethesda games than I have from any other company, except maybe....

Wait, was Square Enix not in there anywhere?
