Story time, children.
When one of my brothers had brought his girlfriend over to meet the family, (after a month or so of pretending that she didn't actually exist for funsies) the subject of the fact that he had pretended she didn't exist had arisen in conversation.
His girlfriend said "Well, you'd think he'd have imagined someone better!" and me and my dad and my brothers laughed along with her.
My mother, not really paying attention to what was going on, said "Absolutely."
There was a lot of O.O all around

Girl on Girl sex scene in "The Black Swan", I was watching it with my mother. Pretty damn awkward.
I had been hearing that Torchwood was a pretty good show and the first one I saw was Episode 2. My mother decided to watch it with me. So, yeah. I'm watching a show with my mother about a monster that lives off of orgasms, and was none too shy about showing it. -_-;

She's quite conservative, and I think I told her they were "penicillin". She let me save face on that one, only bringing it up years and years later as something she thought was funny. And then lectured me on being easy.

Usually 'those' scenes in movies. My Mom still feels weird watching those with me and that makes me reciprocate with the awkward feeling. My Dad could care less.
Today with my dad, I was watching Your Highness and he came out exactly when the minotaur started to rape Courtney....
Or watching Gamer with both my brother and my dad. We couldn't even finish watching it.
Oh one time my mom wanted to send a text to my brother and used my phone. She found a picture of a half naked chick and I had to explain that "No that isn't who I'm dating...no I'm not dating...this is a pity picture my friend sent me of his girlfriend..." She didn't look me in the eyes for a good week....

I don't recall any awkwardness. I do have moments that perhaps could have been awkward if we were different or whatever.
Like the time I was talking with my mom and there was this towel rolled up on her bed. I tend to be busy with my hands so I was just talking and I unrolled it and there was a vibrator in it. It didn't register with me at first so I'm just talking and I pick it up at the end. Then my mom kinda look, flies over, takes it from me--'cause I like to fidget with stuff--and at that point, I realize what it was. I burst out laughing so hard.
Then a cousin was over and made some joke about my nephew who was like 4 or 5 at the time and condoms. And I was like, "they don't make them that small." And everyone laughed and my mom kindly corrected me that yes, condoms can indeed be that small.

Oh, I have so many awkward stories to tell of my father. Some of them are almost funny now that decade has gone by for most of them and he's 6 feet under.
There was the time during dinner when he suddenly asks 11 year old me if I need sanitary pads. In front of my 15 year old brother. AAAAWKWARD.
There's the times he crawled drunk into my bed when I was 10-12 and fell asleep, forcing me to crawl over him and go sleep in his nicotine and sweat soaked bed. (No sexual abuse occurred, rest easy.)
There's the times he was so drunk he'd wander down the stairs naked - as in free willy - to sit at the dinner table to have a smoke and another drink.
There was the time that was so awkward you guys would probably feel awkward by just reading it. So I won't share. Just know it exists.
There was the time he thought ninjas where trying to kill him, but he'd just had a stroke so maybe that doesn't count.
