We have all been there. You go through comics, encyclopedias, games (video or otherwise) and you come across something that is not just powerful. It is power and destruction personified. From the might of a sword plunged into a rock to the devastating blow that a simple notebook can provoke to someone very life, fictional power elements, artifacts and techniques are the reason some of us got into fiction in the first place.

So, what's your favorite? No strings. You can pick anything you want.

I will go with the Black Knight's Armor from Don Rosa's story. You do not wanna mess with a French guy who apart from being the best thief in the world, has an armor and a fucking sword full of Omnisolve.

After much thought and consideration I have to go with one of the most destructive fictional powers ever. The Force. It can be used to pull spaceships out of the sky, need I say more?

For some reason, Pandora's Box comes to mind.

It really doesn't seem that destructive however.

Hmm tough one to call actually. Well the Ramayana, an epic Indian Poem describe a battle where something akin the the A Bomb is used. Thats pretty high on mine.

Nahh. Gonna have to say the Anti-Life Equation. From the DC Universe, its basically a mathematical formula that PROVES LIFE IS WORTHLESS. Thats right, it logicistically proves the phenomenon that is Life is nothing. In fact just hearing the equation sends people into a state of depression. The kicker, the guy who wants it most happens to be Darksied. Probably the most evil character to exist in comic books...well back when the New Gods books were just new at least.

Proton Torpedoes.

Okay, seriously though, I'd say the existence of mathematics. Because we all know what happens when you divide by zero... :p

The Batman suit. It's got tons of useful gadgets. But a Death Note would also be really neat.

Well in Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time there was this huge object called the Great Clock. It was made in the exact center of the universe give or take 50 feet and its purpose is to keep the fabric of time from destroying the universe. However if you try to use it as a time machine then well the whole universe gets destroyed....EVERYTHING!!!!

In my eyes destroying everything seems like the most powerful "weapon" at least to me.

The gravity gun from HL2.

It has the power to manipualte the fabric of space-time (cuz that's wht gravity is, dips in the fabric of space-time). So power it up enough and you can destroy anything.

I think that the Sun Crusher from the Jedi Academy trilogy tops the Death Star. The Death Star could destroy a single planet at a time. The Sun Crush exploded stars, thus destroying entire solar systems.

And another highly destructive fictional power/object is a pissed off Brock Sampson from Venture Brothers.

Don't be too proud of this technological terror you've constructed. The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Force.

As a logical extension of that, Spiral Power in general. Spiral Nemesis anyone?
