Title says it all, people. What's the most you ever paid for a game? Mine would be Super Smash Brothers Melee, for $69.99, but I'm sure some people on here have paid more for games. Spill it.

Far Cry 2 at full price, $60 American. Definitely not worth full price, but an ok game. Probably gotten many games as gifts that were bought full price though, hence why I asked for them.

This is embarrassing but I paid over AUD $100 for Street Fighter SNK vs. Capcom 2 on Gamecube along time ago. Decent street fighter but not worth that. Was a hard game to find though it seemed and pricing was random on some gamecube games... anyways.... still have the game...

I very nearly dropped $100 USD on the Starcraft 2 collector's edition, but decided against it at the last second. I did however put down $80 on the Dead Space 2 collector's edition, and the gun was adequately disappointing.

On a side note, not sure if it counts, but total cost for the WoW games totaled out to something like $140 for me plus a few years of subscriptions.... Most expensive game ever IMO.

EDIT: GAH Siyano I stopped typing for a minute due to watching The Office, got sabotaged it seems. >.<

Technically it was the Special Edition Modern Warfare 2 with the console. I needed to get a new xbox after my old one red ringed, and that 250 gig hard drive was too much to pass up. I think it cost me $400, and it was well worth it. Maybe not the game itself, but the console definitley.

If that doesn't count, then the SE of Halo:Reach for $80 bucks.

I bought a Japanese PS2 solely to play King of Colosseum. Game itself was 80 and the console was around the 300 mark.

Call of Duty: Black Ops for $59.99 USD on launch night (a very rare occurrence for me, since I usually wait months or years after launch before I buy a game).

Unlike what some on these very forums will say, I thought it was worth it overall.

The Prestige edition of Modern Warfare 2. $150, worth every penny. I had to borrow a few pennies, though.

Steel Battalion, 200$

Great game but hard as balls. Still haven't made it past 4th stage.

How about we do this backwards, kay? Forget the name of the game, but I remember it has this absolutly massive controller and is about mechs. Was retailing used at Gamestop for around $200.00 and I got it for $17.00 at a garage sale, controller included.

Steel Battalion, I think. It was this controller, right?
