the most stupid thing to you have to do to sign up for a website

A few days ago just to sign up for a chat web site i had to download soft wear that was 30 gigs big and would take 45 mins long.
after i downloaded it it stated i didn't need this and would not process for my mac. the worst part is i need to go to apple to get the 30 gigs taken of my computer i can't ship it i have to come in person.
well to get to the point what are some of the most stupid things you've needed to do to sign up for a web site.

OT: Worst thing I've had to give is my email, usually a fake one if I don't plan on staying but if it requires verification then my spampurse box can catch the crap.
