As the current movie industry is in boon, looking at some of the releases this month. Not tooting anyone's horn here but answer me this. Can you do better?

The Movies by Activision and Lionhead Studios (Them nice people who brought you Black And White 1&2) Lets You!

On your first launch of the game. You are greeted with the usual menu mumbo-jumbo. You can kick things off easily with the Campaign. Or you can go straight into Sandbox. The Campaign guides you through the basics and fundamentals of creating your own fully functioning movie studio. Right down to the cleaners and stars! You have many buildings, sets and dainty looking things you can plonk down into your studio. Things like. Western sets, World war sets and Romance sets. The list go's on! Now your thinking "hmm, typical 'god' kinda game. Whats different?" Il tell you! You are the director, producer and the corporate big-wig! You have the decision to either write your own script and screenplay. Or let your hired writers do it!

Another great selling point about The Movies are the stars! You can fully customize them down to their hair! Also, nearly forgetting my thought train whilst watching the simpsons. The stars need motivation. They need a creative outlet so make sure you keep them in movies and out of rehab. Im serious. There is a rehab. If the stars get too depressed or addicted to alcohol or fast food. They get sent to Rehab. This seriously affects your Studios rep and the mood of the star.

Keep an eye out for the Addictions meter!

Image is everything! Your star needs to look good! Get them starring in glamorous and action-packed roles! But watch out! If they are not trained in the field, they will get a low movie rating from that all important critic. The stars have...urr...lets say levels in certain genres. Say, 4 bars in Romance and 1 in Action. They will preform best in a romantic role, rather than shooting people in the streets of an action set. If you meet the genre with the actors strengths. The rating will be higher and the stars overall 'Star Rating' will rise along with their fame!

If you dont like a certain star. Sack them or trade them with a rival studio. Its a dog eat dog market out there. So play it too your advantage.

Freeform is your creative outlet. Create that Oscar award winner!

Awards come along from time to time and its important to get nominated. Getting you nominated gets you an overall reputation boost.

All together. Id give this a Rent It. Its fun and in-depth but very repetitive. Something you pick up every now and then to unleash your creative monster on the world.

As my first review goes. Give me some honest criticism. Thanks for reading.

A good review, all thought I first it was just a really obvious advertisement. I'd make them a bit longer and use smaller pictures because screen shots can be googled if we really want them. Whereas your opinions one of a kind, I imagine
