The new Pokemon Game. WTF?

I was browsing the web when I came across this announcement.

Apparently they're crossing over pokemon with... a Koei game?

I have to admit, this kind of sounds like a fun idea.

Mystery Dungeon games are surprisingly addicting.

I managed to play one through certain avenues and was so enthralled that I ordered it the same day.

The storytelling in them is a step above their regular titles. Though Black and White was interesting.

I've never heard of the series that it is crossing over with, but I like the idea of commanding an army of Poke'mon.

Time travel already exists in the Poke'mon world.

I never heard of that other game before until recently. From what I've read that other game is quite good. Seeing the trailer myself it look like it could be good and in a way it act somewhat of a prehistory before the Red, Blue, Diamond etc. I mean the those game are set in the present while that cross over game set in the past.

I am steeped in cautious anticipation. Most of the pokemon spinoff games are, well, pretty damn bad, but this looks like a comparatively fitting enough concept that I am genuinely looking forward to it. Here's hoping the pull it off.
