The new TNA Impact! game

how are the rest of ou feeling about it, do you think it will be good? do you think it will suck? or will it be somewhere in the middle. personally, i have a feeling that it isnt going to be very good, i mean i hope it is, but something just tells me that it won't be. maybe its because this will be their first game, maybe its becasue midway doesn't any experience making wrestling games, or maybe its because ive gotten so used to the smackdown games, anything different will just confuse and irritate me. what do you think?

My friend works for a radio station that did a lot of promotional work for them, and we got free tickets to their most recent pay-per-view. I'd never been to a TNA event, but knew who some of the characters were from watching the occasional WWE event at the same friend's home and being at a few live events when I was younger.

The pay-per-view wasn't entertaining, the arena wasn't even half-full, and every introduction of a person coming in to the ring was hawking the video game with clips of the person's video game persona. The game itself didn't look like anything special, and in honesty, I don't really see a lot of appeal to their product overall.

I kept hearing people mention that their product is the most extreme, exciting form of wrestling entertainment, but didn't see anything that stood out at all. Not trying to be brutal and bash it, just didn't see a whole lot of redeeming qualities that separate it from the pack.

TNA is a wrestling game?? Damnit, I had high hopes for that one... now I'm going to have to abandon it.

well. it's a wrestling game so it will be awful just like the actual wrestling, only you will be pretending to be people pretending to fight so it will be even worse.
