The new Wolverine movie

I saw it today and was actually happy with it.. Until Deadpool showed up and made me go "NO!! He's my favorite!! WHY!!" I mean really? They had to fuck with Deadpool? I know he was Wolverines replacement for Weapon X and such but cyclops laser beam? And swords coming out of his arms really?

Well, you're the second person to start a thread about Deadpool in that movie, so he must be bad.

It's not even that. I mean there wasn't that much wrong with him but I just don't think they should have messed with his powers.

I actually JUST got a phone call from a friend of mine who saw the movie who griped about the exact same thing. It's a shame, too, since Deadpool was the main reason I wanted to see the movie...

Yea Deadpool is but he comes back way later in the movie as actual Deadpool

I liked him pre-transformation though. "Do you ever shut up?" "Not when I'm awake" Then they finally figured out how to shut him up!

I think much of the problem stems from the fact that the people making these movies don't grasp the notion that claws on the back of your hand is not the be-all-end-all of X-men powers.

I didn't get to see it. Me and my girlfriend went to the theater and right as we got there they said they sold out. This is the second time this has happened last time it was with the Watchmen.

From now on i'm ordering tickets ahead of time when there is a threat of invasion by fan boys.

I never read the comics but I still think it was good but they coulda done better. Mainly with wolverines claws. They look incredibly fake when he pulls them out when he was lookin in the mirror. I saw the second xmen movie today and they looked better then

Gambit actually defeated Wolverine once in the comics.

Wolverine and Deadpool are two of my favorite comic characters. Mainly the fact that Deadpool can break the 4th wall and comment about other issues in the comic or how he misses the text bubbles.

This. Ryan Reynolds was perfect as Deadpool..... you know before they screwed him up royally.

Now does this completely rule out the possibility of a Deadpool movie? I mean come on...they gave Ghostrider AND Elektra movies, why not Deadpool?

Deadpool somehow puts his head back on. I never saw it though, mine was Striker getting picked up by MP.

artistic license is a *****. they can do whatever the hell they want and ruin what could potentially be a great movie.
