there are so many cartoons from the 90's and early two thousands that are better than the crap that's on today. Honestly i want to see Time Squad again.

Samurai Jack. Every episode had a different feel, a different art style to it. Man I loved that show.

Avatar: The Last Airbender

Shit was so cash.

I hear they're coming out with a sequel(?) to the series.

I'm kind of glad they waited, if only to prove that they weren't piggy-backing off the first one's success and perhaps as an indicator that it will be as good (if not better) than the last.

Adventure Time, Regular Show, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Thundercats, and Young Justice are all great cartoons on today. I think people are just letting nostalgia blind them when they say "Today's cartoons suck, our's where better." Now, don't get me wrong I love 90's stuff like Rocko's Modern Life, Batman: The Animated Series, and Dexter's Lab, the same goes for last decade's cartoons like Avatar: The Last Airbender and Samurai Jack. But, it's ridiculous how often I here that today's cartoons suck, just because some of it does, in fact, suck. There where a lot of crappy cartoons on back in the day, too.

I'm gonna go with samurai jack.
Our cartoon network hasn't shown that since... 2006 at latest?

But there are two old cartoon I've been trying to find just on Nostalgia alone.

One starts off with live action where this teenage boy is talking with his friend on the phone when a giant present lands on his yard. He tells his friend to wait and enters it and then becomes a cartoon.
I don't remember much else but he had some companions and he was challenge by this invisible or headless man to count the number of grains of sand in a pile with some tweezers, he escapes back into the real world and talks to his friend again who tells him to wait as another giant present landed on his yard.

Another one was a cartoon they used to show every halloween when I was a wee lad. I think involved a group of kids where one of their friends has died/is dying. The clearest memory I have of that show is when they had to build this tower where whenever they take a step a piece of brick appears at their feet. I think it ended with them eating some skull candy which was supposed to do something with their friend

Sorry if a little obtuse but if anyone can provide any info on these cartoons would be much appreciated

Megas XLR. I think that should speak for itself to be honest. And in case it doesn't:
