This is the continuation of Epic Quest, but feel free to join. Our adventurers will find themselves in a new situation. You can come in though if you werent in the last one. We welcome all! Now for the important part. I have decided to go to a whole new system. I am actually going to roll 2 dice for each attack. While this seems very nerdy, it really is just a good way to handle power. The two dice are 6 sided, meaning 12 is the max. if you get a 10, that is the damage. If you happen to get a perfect 12, you do 12 damage and start a combo, making the next attack one of your party members does 2 times as strong, so 12s are AWESOME!

Phoenix knight and ninja both get the same skills as Warrior and Theif Respectivly.

Warrior: These are the everyday men, fighting to protect their families. They have the Bloodlust in them. This ability lets them re roll once every 4 attacks.

Attack: 6
Defense: 4
Magic: 2
Resistance: 3

Theif: They can pickpocket NPCs, which will get a 2 dice roll, if the result is 6 or higher, you can get an item without notice. Pickpocketing in large crowds though, and you get a one dice roll, where only 6 will succesfully get an item. People in crowds may have really good things though.

Attack: 5
Defense:4
Magic:4
Resistance: 2

Druid: They can decide whether they are in Spirit form, in which they can heal, and make NPCs feel awe. This is useful in several situations, or they can choose humanoid form, in which they have slightly catlike appearance, meanink their face is slightly like one, and they have fangs. They have a certain musklike odor, that is so unbearably masculine or feminine, that they are very attractive to people, which, while being very useful for conversations, can also ruin them.

Attack:2
Defense:3
Magic: 6
Resistance:4

Hunter: They can capture beasts and have them train with them and fight alongside them. They start out with a pet warthog. Its abilities will be listed with the hunters.

Attack:4
Defense:4
Magic:4
Resistance:3

Priest: The major healers, their only main attacks are only really damaging to viles, unholies, or darks.

Attack:3
Defense:3
Magic:5
Resistance:4

Ok here is the deal on that. Your base attack is how much damage you do using your weapon. You then add your roll. Defense is taken out of the enemies attack, plus your roll. Then Magic, which is how much damage/healing your spells do, preists and druids being able to heal. Resistance is subtracted from spells, plus your roll. I will also roll a dice for Dodging, so with any attack against you, if you get a 5 or 6, you dodge the attack completely. Ill give you your spells once you post that you want to be in and what job you will be. Be prepared, and look up penultimate, first one to state the definition gets a cookie. No talent points this time.

The only question I have now is:

Should we send the Epic Quest to the mods as an example of how not to RP?

Abilities:

Loot Sight: if you roll a 5+ you can see what loot the enemies will drop. (Useful for prioritizing whom you should kill)(Spans whole room/area)
Shadowmeld: Hide in the shadows with a roll of anything 3+ (Does not work if enemy is 3+ levels higer, unless a 6 is rolled)

Now for Fastfoot

(Insert name here)

Natures Glory: Heal for amount rolled (Do not include spell power)
Natures Vice: Surround the target with swirling leaves, disabling them for 1 turn.
Natures Fury: Hit the target for double the roll on one dice plus spell power.(Only useable evcery other turn)

Remember, you do not HAVE to use spells, you can use basic attacks. Debatra, i assume you are staying Phoenix Knight.

Debatra
Class: Phoenix Knight

Abilities:

Velociraptor's Strike: Hits target for twice attack power plus roll on one dice.
Fury: Allows Velociraptor's Strike to be rolled 2 times for (Once per 6 attacks)
Divine Sheild: Causes you to take damage for a partner instead of them.(Damage is still reduced by defence and resistance, lasts for 3 turns of the sheilder)

Ok now for health. You each have 50 to start. Now then, we just need somebody to fill a hunter slot. Hey freebiewitz, think you could be a hunter? We have a theif already, and you havent confirmed entry yet...

Hrm... We have somebody for every job...Hrm... New job time then.

You can be a...Warlock

Warlock:

Attack:3
Defense:3
Magic:5
Resistance:4

Spells:

Summon Demon: Pull out a demon, and as you become more seasoned you will discover more species of demon. You begin with an Impling.
Dark Bolt:Blasts the enemy for a regular 2 dice roll plus base, but your demon can assist in this, doubling your base, if the enemy in question is affected by Blinding Blast(Priest ability)(Those imps hold a grudge against somebody who succumbed to light)
Shadowy Grave: I roll 2 dice, and if the enemy is less than or at 2 times that result, it instantly dies.(If the enemy begins with below 24 health this is invalidated)

**EDIT**Who likes my new avatar? I think it goes better with my name than the Phoenix Force thing from Justice League. And it just looks so awesome!

Ok well i dont care if you want to be a warlock, as long as he agrees to be a hunter. I want one of each job to maximize fun. Debatra, like i said, you have the same skills as a warrior. I cant give you special treatment further than the fact that you are still a phoenix night. I will let Phoenix Bolt be the first ability you gain though. Deals?

I've been playing a game called dark heresy lately in RL with some friends and my character there is pretty much the character here, though with less guns and minus one face implant.
Anyhow the point is I have an idea for a few abilities when I level up.

#1: Sure strike: When using a mellee weapon you may reverse the dice roll for a better result.eg. 73 become 37.

(dark heresy uses a one hundred sided dice system, the lower the number the better. D100 aren't what you think they are, theyre just two dices.)

#2: Dark vision
#3: Mugging : damaging the enemy may give loot.

Thats all I can think of right now, all the other abilities have things to do with sneaking or guns and so forth and wouldn't really fit into this game.

My Phoenix Knight could cast spells in the last one. If they can't here, then I have to ask where the old Spellwarrior Class is.

Well fine, you can be a Phoenix Knight with Phoenix Bolt. Fury double rolls for PB. And Just a warning, your spells are low, because you are equal stats to a warrior, but the double roll is nice. Uggh, Rpers lol.
