Well, so it appears that cartoon network has picked up FLCL season 2. It's being made by Production IG which can be hit or miss, so hopefully its a hit since just hearing the Pillows doing the sound track again gave me goosebumps.

Oh, and cause its me and if you have seen me post I probably had something related to small horses. Have something related to this and small horses.

Man, I'm not even a fan of FLCL and this feels like an insult to the original. The style that defined it just isn't there in the trailer. The story had no reason to continue. This is a lame attempt to revive a cult classic in the hope of randomly hitting paydirt.

I'm gonna watch it, but my hopes are below 0. I think if it turns out to be any good at all I'll be pleasantly surprised, but if not I'll just stick around for the pillows.

LOL, my sister has those exact cat ear head phones. They look fucking dumb (don't tell my sis I said that tho). That digital artwork don't look great either when compared to the water color of the original.

It could be good, but FLCL was lightning in a bottle and I get he feeling it will miss the mark. Hope I am wrong.

Yeah, the wait for that is pretty damn frustrating... though considering how the last one had a sudden turn towards dark and depressing... I don't have high hopes for it turning out well.

OT- Honestly, if it weren't for the images of the Ironing building, older Naota and Haru, I would had mistaken it for some other anime which is a good or bad thing?

Either way I probably going to watched it, hopefully it doesn't become a trainwreck like Eureka 7: Astral Ocean!

The only show I can think of that did even anything close to that was Saga of Tanya the Evil. A show which takes place in a fictional version of world war 1 where magic is involved, and the main character is a soldier for the (not) German army. It more or less shows the (not) German army as the protagonists, but generally takes time to show that the main character and the army do some kind of fucked up things over the course of the show. So, im unsure if this is even what Smith is talking about.

I love the original so I'm mildly curious for this. Also I don't really care for Evangelion to be honest. If people like it, cool, more power to you. I just couldn't get into it.
