I prefer Futurama and then South Park because it contains some good moral messages occasionally. Simpsons is declining but hopefully it won't go the way of Sonic. Never got into Family Guy.

I haven't watched the Simpsons in years. So I can't really say it is the best personally.

You can call it nostalgia talking if you want, but I still say the Simpsons are better than Family Guy, and I think it's bullshit that Family Guy even got nominated for a best comedy emmy this year, when the Simpsons have never gotten such an honor.

Of course, I value halfway decent writing over 'random' cutaways and the same repeated sex/shock jokes any day. So perhaps I'm just too much of a hoity-toity, elitist film student to recognize Family Guy as a good show at all (I'll admit the first three seasons were decent, but it has most definitely gone stale).

FUTURAMA!!! Simpsons got old, Southpark is on off, Family guy is dumb, but Futurama is forever
So what was your answer to Futurama getting cancelled a few years ago?
...MORONS CANCELLED IT!!

Nah, just kidding. I must try watching Futurama, I watched about... 5 minutes of one episode and I think that the Polish dubbing was repelling. I always try to get the original version.

I guess that when I'll be bored, I'll watch it online or something.

I think they still make good episodes they just only make a couple per season now as oppose to the entire season like they used to,

If anything it's still entertaining.

I like Futurama but I don't think it could of lasted longer than it did and if they made new episodes I don't see the, being as good as they once were.

Family Guy was good, then they canceled it and brought it back and it's been very hit in miss since...mostly miss.

South Park has just gotten preachy and up it's ass with morals and making fun of pop culture lately so it's just declining too.

I think we just need some fresh blood working on adult animated series but all the one's out now are getting stagnated.

It's amazing how long the Simpsons have been on the air but, it feels like their running out of ideas. Same thing with South Park, every episode is a parody so you pretty much know what's going to happen next. I would say something about Family Guy but, I hate it and I always hated it. Sad to see my two favorite shows dieing.

the thing about the Simpsons, especially the older episodes, is that they had very complex jokes that were still funny even if you didn't get the reference they were poking fun at.

ie the song in the monorail episode is a funny song HOWEVER it's a parody of the Music Man. it's still funny if you don't get the reference

in the casino episode where Mr Burns gets all worried about germs and collects his urine in jars. it's still funny even if you don't get that they are parodying Howard Hughes.

they've always been like that and taken their references from many different sources, where shows like South Park takes there's from pop culture and is VERY limited in it's humour, Family Guy mostly gets theirs from the 80s. both of those are rather limited, with South Park being the worst of the two.

the Simpsons will always be the king, as good as Futurama is it's not the king like the Simpsons are and always will be

Not the best animated show out there, but a damn important one. And I've seen only like 5 episodes, but still it's importance

nah, I despise the Simpsons now, probably due to over dosing on it when I was little. The movie was alright though, and I like Futurama ect. family Guy is the best cartoon though. =D

For me, the epitome of cartoon humor is Futurama. It takes what makes the Simpsons GREAT and focuses it into a condensed nuggot that it forces into your brain. EVERY SINGLE EPISODE is worth watching, and although some are better than others, none are sub-par.

The only thing about Futurama is that creepy toad. I mean, since when do toads have phycic...oh god! I think he heard me!

No! Please, no! I don't want to ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD!

The Simpsons hasn't been the best animated show for some time, in my opinion. I love the older episodes, but the new ones are just... ugh.
I prefer all the others - Family Guy, American Dad, South Park, Futurama - to the Simpsons. I wish they'd have stopped making them a while ago, before they'd sullied my memory of it. Of course, whilst something's still popular, they're goning to keep milking it...

The simpsons just isn't funny anymore. I think they've taken it as far as they can go. Family guy and south park have more of an edge to, bieng a little more adult than the simpsons.

I'd have to say that The Simpsons is one of the best shows out there, but that's if you're willing to ignore seasons 15 onward. The show sucks now and Groening & Fox should just let the show die now. The movie was great, but the new episodes lack the quality that the movie and older seasons bloom with.

I stopped watching a few years or back after seeing the episode "That 90's Episode". That ep was so god awful and just flat out...I don't know, offensive in a way, that it just turned me off the series for good. I'll watch the old eps or the movie any day, but I'll never watch a new episode of the Simpsons ever again. As far as I'm concerned, the show died years ago.

I'm a huge Simpsons fan, and I'll be the first to admit that later episodes aren't really that good, it's still the best animated show ever.

Aside from Futurama it's still the best.

Which is more a damning statement on it's rivals than high praise for itself. The other shoes simply don't have the production values or writing to compete even with the current not so wonderful episodes of the Simpsons.

Futurama's brilliant though, the more mental it gets the better. I'm worried about the new series though.

futurama started sucking for me after the beast with a million backs.
