I don't know a lot about slender man, but if I'm thinking about the right user, PoisonUnagi [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/profiles/view/PoisonUnagi] was pretty into marble hornets so he might be a good source for slender man... stuff.

Additional information? I know, for a fact, that it watches you while you sleep.

[sub][sub][sub]Silly OP, this isn't real.[/sub][/sub][/sub]

I remember reading somewhere that Slender man only exists because we keep thinking about it.

http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheSlenderManMythos - that'll probably contain more information.

Some say he's a tulpa. Some insist he was never real.

Others whisper that he lures children away, playing the voices of their loved ones like a music box. They're found again weeks or months later, impaled in trees--all their organs having been taken out, wrapped up in a sticky membrane and shoved back inside in the wrong order. Where he goes radio signals go out of whack, squealing and screaming before fading away into static.

Yeah really spooky and I suppose kinda scary, weird thing is it was a totally fictional character made at some forum. How people can report sightings of the damn thing is bazaar.

Because its fun!

I don't think many people honestly think he is real... But..

Suspending belief, seeing a fictional character in pictures, an evil twisted one at that...

It makes things more fun to live in you know?

He's slender, single, neat, and detail-oriented.
Yeah - I think we know what his real secret is...

Such a weird ass story. What makes it so good is that most of the people involved - particularly the Marble Hornet crew - have played it so well (mysterious postings with double meanings that allow for expansion of the myth). Its also what makes it so scary - the very loose story told in such an awesome way, combined with the occasional kernel of truth based in actual mythology, as well as the fact that in the media he's in he can show up any time and anywhere.

Which is why I'm occasionally freaked out going outside to smoke at one in the morning, because I never know if an obscure figure is going to appear to be staring at me from down the street...

Isn't that the same name as that one guy in Yahtzee's horror games?

...oh wait, that's the Tall Man... I think...
