Given that LucasArts has been shut down who do you expect to win the likely huge coming bidding war for the license to make Star Wars games? My money is on one of Activision or EA although I'd prefer EA mainly to see what DICE and Bioware could do/continue to do with that universe.

I highly doubt that Disney will give the license solely for one publishing company to play with. They'll probably do what Games Workshop is doing now, going on a company by company basis. Just depends on what the pitch will be.
But what can I expect? I expect Disney to be very heavy handed on what the developers can put it. Do not expect any M rated Star Wars games ever. Which explains why 1313 was closed when it was supposedly deep into development. This is Disney we're talking about. The stuff they make might have some appeal to adults, but it's all for children and young teens.

It's dead Jim, we'll have movie games of the travesty they're calling Star Wars which I find less and less confidence in every day(even though I actually liked Abram's Star Trek so there's some hope I guess...)
I really really hope Telltale and Doublefine lobby for some of the Adventure games licenses by the way. And who knows maybe we'll finally see Battlefront 3 ... or not, more likely not.

Haven't cared about Lucasarts in years, not exactly sad about it... Ok, some people who probably lose their jobs over it don't deserve it, still not sad over it. Call me jerk if you will.
